Anyone using MESH m6 from unifi? How good was it?
Compare the old AC1200 to the new unifi wifi 6 router , Is there any improvement for wifi coverage?
For unifi speed upgrade, what do I expect when technician come to my house?

I went to maxis yesterday that want to port to maxis home fibre then today just now go to tm and submit the transfer, the Officer counter offered me a better than like 129 for 300mbps with 6 months waiver. While maxis only can offered 129 for 100 mbps with 6 months waiver and I am sticking back with unifi.

But depends how many family members are in your house and how many devices they own

I am currently on unifi 30Mbps - Upgrade 100Mbps (Try Me) for 1 month..

After a month will I be reverted to 30Mbps or stay on 100Mbps? My bill indicates that next payment is RM129, so a bit worried

tm in term customer service, hands down... my issues they solved like within 2 hours after made complaint on network issues affecting my fiber.

Nah, it's fast.com. I love it when ppl ask about speeds using fast.com and I reply in like. I always get gigabit speeds with it. Even more than my gigabit port can handle.

Latency is about right. My computer is wired straight to router so not influenced by the Deco X20. I can get even better, about 3ms, if I test from my Uncle's office in Bangsar. I guess bcos it's closer to wherever the test server is located.

Ya, but it's not really 1Gbps. I dunno how fast.com calculate it. It always gives very high numbers. TM Speedtest or Speedtest.net or my router gives a more correct 800-830Mbps result.

Like me living in Penang, I speedtest unifi line against TM Seberang Jaya, Maxis against Maxis Shah Alam.

What I need to know is my subscribed line is capable of achieving my subscribed speed, between my own router and it's next hops, inside ISP's own internal network. If inside ISP itself also cannot achieve satisfactory speed, something is already wrong.

Traffic from far away servers are always at the mercy of internet weather anyway. Why worry about that far? Check closer within own ISP first.

Like today, my 500Mbps Maxis can only achieve 300Mbps against Shah Alam. Within ISP's own network. You think I should worry about fast.com etc when inside already not performing?

Yup 8.8.8.8 n 8.8.4.4. I usually also have both of Cloudflare’s. You just helped me realize that I forgotten to add them in after my recent router upgrade.

I don't think unifi will terminated their 30mbps/50mbps plan in next 2 years.
Even 2Gbps plan in next year is not possible unless tm fully upgrade their infrastructure. (Worldwide routing like crap one,high speed plan also cannot benefit)

Just for Unifi to SG connection,how come they can't fix it forever??? every 2 months will occurs spikes like this...

I called unifi hotline yesterday, they confirmed the package "300mbps basic swu 2.0"  is bundled with D+H.
They said it takes around 7working days to update their system.=="
Once they update the system, I will receive the notification for D+H activation.
So, I just have to wait.

Just change plan and got a Zyxel EX3220-T0 router, first impressions is the 2.4 GHz band range is very good.

Much better than unifi TP Link Archer C1200, that have random reboot problem.
