yup it just goes to the nokia logo for no apparent reasons...again i think that this effect alot of nokia models with symbian OS.....not specific to e51 it self.

hi there, welcome to the club....as for me, i have no problems dealing with installation of programs, perhaps i did change my settings on certificates to accept all certs BEFORE I install everything else. I even can install the ahem software without probs.

Yay... Today is a very nice day. I've finally get my long awaited 4GB MicroSDHC Class 6 for my E51. Works great with my phone.

As for my MFOP still ain't going well... Hope I'll get good news from the seller. I rather get the screen protector than refund.

I can't think of any others to share as my experience with the phone is quite similar to the other E51 users here.
Well, except for mine is the first to be sent in to Nokia Care for a service... cry.gif
I was told that my phone circuit board is faulty and that's the root of the problem. Pretty lame... sweat.gif
Anyway, I would say it's user interface is responsive and easy to navigate.
Impressive features and functionality to cater most of your needs for business and some entertainment.
Namely, 3G, HSPDA, WiFi, VOIP, PDF and document viewers, Music & Video players etc.
The main reason I get the phone is because it's the cheapest WiFi phone I can find during my time of purchase.
In short, I think it's a really worthy buy for it's price tag and long list of features and functionality though it might not be the perfect phone for everyone but I think it's far more than enough for me.

Just a side note :
I've not been using a handphone ever since I lost my previous phone quite some time ago because I can't find a good replacement for it.
Once I get the E51, it's really a welcome sight for me as the interface is easy and straight forward.
Therefore, I've no problem at all navigating/figuring out most of the features/functions without the need of digging through the manuals. thumbup.gif

You know, I still haven't found a screen protector. My E51's screen is collecting scratches by the day. Let's hope the original screen protector that came with the phone can last a little bit longer.

Initially, I requested for a 1 to 1 exchange as my phone is less than one month old from the day of purchase.
However, they quickly denied my request and told me it must go through a series of tests and repairs before they even would consider for a 1 to 1.
I've no choice since I have paid so much for the phone and needed the phone so agreed to send in for the test and repair.
After that, the person added that it would take around 1 to 2 days for everything to be done and they'll call me for pickup once it's ready.
Surprsingly, they didn't even bother to call me after 2 days so I called them myself on Friday and was told that my phone is ready.
Therefore, I went to Plaza Berjaya to collect my phone.
Well, the phone works as usual at least after the repair and I did noticed they've removed my circiut board.
This is true to what they claimed because there're a lot of traces that my phone has been fully dismantled before.
In short, the phone should be ready since day 2 after I sent it in but they didn't call me after that so it's left there till Friday.

aww shucks.. yea... usually they won't allow 1-to-1 switch... so sometimes, it's really down to luck.

but as long as it is under warranty, then by all means, just send it it... 2 days, that's pretty quick biggrin.gif

anyone get a crystal case or pouch (horizontal/vertical flip) for your E51? I found a crystal case below from a website, but it seem hard to get in local shops with similar product.

E51 Crystal Case

from what I get from a review, there is a leather pouch bundled together. It is not inside my box, how about others?
