2 hours drain 75% is quite heavy, but I think it’s normal? considering it’s at on high graphics and 80% brightness…

No idea haha, first time playing game on a macbook and i saw many recommending WoW and GW2; went for WoW because i cant seem to download GW2 lol!!

Thought I had a portable machine that can play MMORPG and im ok to pay for a good game, but the battery performance is really disappointing (and my lap is literally burning from the heat dissipated)...or did i expect too much haha!

maybe ill try with a lower setting

QUOTE(dikae @ Dec 11 2021, 08:50 AM)
But generally people don't run high resolution mmorpg on laptops though, they will have a customer rig for those smile.gif
*
im a total noob in these, so i just went for "High" instead of the "Ultra high" haha! will try lower setting next time

QUOTE(vostroxe @ Dec 11 2021, 09:33 AM)
Just wonder..understand that WoW is M1 native. is it only for classic version or including all the expansion as well?

Btw, is normal to drain like that especially for high res mmorpg.
*
I have no idea also, i went for WoW (not the classic one), i went for free trial only so didnt have nay expasion.

And thanks for the note, will "lower" my expectation on these haha thumbup.gif (i came with the expectation that I can play as long as I can edit on FCPX haha!)

I think it runs better on games like Diablo 3 …generally ARPG use lesser resolution than mmorpg…but again you should be buying a comp to run the game you like, and not the other way round tongue.gif

I think classic or retail WOW (shadowlands) run about the same, both also power suckers…sadly laptops werent catered for high res games…and a MacBook definitely is worse, compare to a desktop…even a rm4500 customed rig run these games smoothly..but yea if you wanna play some games on the MacBook, try Diablo 3 if it suits you…we have a section here for d3 gamers where you can find some members to run rifts/ greater rifts, definitely make game experience better than solo queue..

Honestly the battery on the Mac is pretty awesome.

I can play Football Manager running and YouTube + Airplay for around 3-4 hours and still left with 30+% at the end, compared that to my previous Razer Blade 14 that only lasted under 2 hours and died.

It's pretty decent already. For non-intensive work, I don't even need to bring the charger with me for 1 day use - the battery is really a breeze on this beast.

Bought this leather sleeve for my MBP 14” and I’m 100% satisfied with the look and quality. It’s slim and fit perfectly. The grey color really complements the space grey MBP.

Has anyone order get cancelled out of sudden? I'm supposed to get the MBP 14 by 10-17 December, although last time I check yesterday, it still says processing. Now it says "This item was cancelled on December 14, 2021 and you have not been billed for it.".
