Hi guys,

Apologies if this has been asked before. I am purchasing a MBP Pro 14 M1 for my girlfriend as a personal notebook in a week or so.
I will also be purchasing the AppleCare extension to go with it since she will be using the notebook for at least 2 years. However, she
is being posted to Manila for work in July for about 6 months but it could drag to 12 months depending on the progress of the project
closure too.

My only concern is if the AppleCare protection will work and be recognized by Apple Philippines if any warranty or repairs are needed
during the 6 to 12 months timeline while she is there? It also makes no sense to purchase a Macbook there as she is only being sent
there for a short attachment.

Cheers,
V.

Yes it's recognised internationally however depending on parts availability. If the Philippines model have a different part (usually for phones/watches with modem) you'll have to call Apple to claim warranty, and the replacement product will be from Philippines.
