By the way, can i ask if you guys are using it as a tool to make money? like being a youtuber/content creator etc etc?

Why i'm asking this is, because i am using a macbook only for entertainment purposes, watching youtube/netflix/surfing/light gaming, etc etc.

I have my office laptop to work on extensive excel/word documents.

So I have hard time justifying paying like up to 5 figure for an entertainment laptop to be honest.

a quick question guys, anyone here use macbook for business use or work related? what is the difference compare to windows?

I am using Iphone 11 so that's the only apple ecosystems I have. Personally I really want to try out Mac and it's OS but also fear that it might not work well for my work. Heard some friends' stories that it is not user friendly compare to windows.
I think my biggest usage if i changed to Mac will be MS office so I don't think it is an issue. Do you have any problem using MS office in Mac? Heard that it is not as stable as windows. Is that true?

Pulled the trigger and bought the 16 inch base model. Estimated delivery 23-30 Dec.

Just wondering if anyone uses a thin screen protector and any tips in cleaning/taking care of the screen as I noticed it gets smudges and finger prints on it pretty easily.

The computer you have on your desk at work is almost certainly a Windows machine. The laptop however... that's almost always a Mac. That's probably true of most offices around the world. At least for those who work with two computers and perhaps a third at home.

These new M chip machines with Parallels though bring forward an interesting new way of integrating with the Windows world though. I can boot up Win11 in seconds with Parallel and so far, it's very, very fast. And stable.
