i use crash pads for my oly lifts, tho i'm lifting in my outdoor homegym, but i imagine it would help for condo. Get something like this. But beware, it's huge, since you're staying in condo i'm gonna assume you're tied for space unless it's at least 2000+ sq.ft ones.

Also, without saying, bumper plates of course. And most importantly, you do not have to "crash" or "release" your full weight during the descent, hell even when i'm lifting in gym i try to control the weight down, because i'm not ego lifting or constantly trying out my 1rm. Instead i'm purely lifting for health so i choose a weight that i can handle for 8x5 yet it completely leaves me shaking by the last 2 set.

Hey thanks for the suggestion, i did came across this product as well but unfortunately this will reduce the ROM, need to find something else to stand on while deadlifting.

I do 1x5 for deadlift in my routine so it can get pretty heavy, but i guess ill need give and take by lifting indoor. will try to not drop the weight straightaway like that

I do a deadlift maximum of 10 reps. If you do it in a good technique even pr can be safe.

I live in a condo unit.

As a bodybuilder, I only do RDLs.
RDLs builds my hamstring while Squats hit my quads. Perfect balance.
Get a nice hamstring stretch at bottom of each RDL rep.
My RDL max is 160KG, i do sets of 6~8 reps.
RDLs also grows my traps alot due to constant tension. Lower back also gets hit hard.

RDL = Solid Hams/Traps/Low Back builder + Condo/Floor/Noise friendly

Don't see a point to do a suboptimal hypertrophy exr like deads.
Won't build your hams as good as RDLs.

I write my workout programs myself.
My routines is 100x better that all the trash on the net.

Currently doing a 5 day split as below and adding 5kg to Squat/RDL, 2.5kg to bench maxes every ~3weeks
All sets are taken very close to failure or failure.

The bar never touches my body when doing the set. 0 bruises on my legs/shins/knees
Only touch my thighs lightly at start position before starting my set.

I deadlift quite often these 2months in condon
My deadlift technique getting advanced ,recently
I like to share about my personal deadlift technique ,only conventional deadlift
I have try rdl, straight leg deadlift, bent over knees deadlier, wide legs deadlift, wide hands deadlift etc.i tried most ,I felt like my power doesn't tuning very smoothly

Suddenly I saw a YouTube called deficit deadlife ,and I started to workout with slowly adjust the heights ,from ground to barbell .At the time of 15cm of clearance ,I can felt the power of my leg and my whole body. I was so surprised, I can easily lift more weights &reps without breathing . Usually 1rep 1 breath ,now 3rep 1breath
Everyone must try the deficit deadlift for sure .I have learned myself a rolling barbell deficit deadlift🚬

Legs press deadlift or Erector spinae deadlift[SIZE=7]
I would say ,use more leg strength than erector
I saw the gym bro hurts his lower back .he can lift heavy but no leg flexion ,. Consider stiff leg deadlift
Recently I learned the deficit barbell lean back deadlift ,barbell closer to shin and dropping yourself to behind with explosive leg strength ,Don't worry u won't fall behind
be careful ,barbell squat & deadlift hurts u
I don't do barbell squat ,I known someone upper spine compress fracture
