QUOTE(Spitzer @ Sep 29 2021, 10:21 PM) i use crash pads for my oly lifts, tho i'm lifting in my outdoor homegym, but i imagine it would help for condo. Get something like this. But beware, it's huge, since you're staying in condo i'm gonna assume you're tied for space unless it's at least 2000+ sq.ft ones. Hey thanks for the suggestion, i did came across this product as well but unfortunately this will reduce the ROM, need to find something else to stand on while deadlifting. Also, without saying, bumper plates of course. And most importantly, you do not have to "crash" or "release" your full weight during the descent, hell even when i'm lifting in gym i try to control the weight down, because i'm not ego lifting or constantly trying out my 1rm. Instead i'm purely lifting for health so i choose a weight that i can handle for 8x5 yet it completely leaves me shaking by the last 2 set. https://www.lazada.com.my/products/barbell-...YxoCYyUQAvD_BwE I do 1x5 for deadlift in my routine so it can get pretty heavy, but i guess ill need give and take by lifting indoor. will try to not drop the weight straightaway like that |

QUOTE(Armesh @ Oct 22 2021, 05:31 PM) I live in a condo unit. any specific routine you are following? As a bodybuilder, I only do RDLs. RDLs builds my hamstring while Squats hit my quads. Perfect balance. Get a nice hamstring stretch at bottom of each RDL rep. My RDL max is 160KG, i do sets of 6~8 reps. RDLs also grows my traps alot due to constant tension. Lower back also gets hit hard. RDL = Solid Hams/Traps/Low Back builder + Condo/Floor/Noise friendly Don't see a point to do a suboptimal hypertrophy exr like deads. Won't build your hams as good as RDLs. |

QUOTE(mybads888 @ Feb 17 2022, 10:23 PM) Nope. Currently doing RDL but if desperate might buy the crash pads.QUOTE(mybads888 @ Feb 17 2022, 10:25 PM) i am doing linear progression program so 5x5 defeats the purpose. But we will see how. |
