forgotten that 5k need to service again...

car when step half or lesser on the accelerator
suddenly the car go rev til 4k++ only change gear
is this normal?
*
depending how u step on the accelerator in the 1st place... did u step on it & increase ur foot pressure gradually, or u immediately step half on the accelerator, i think the later will cause the sudden rev...

hmmm i thought if you step harder it'll cause the oil pressure to increase hence dropping gear and giving you a nice pick up =)

My latest FC test, just to gauge 95% highway driving:

LPT highway, 120-140km/h, distance about 350km, after refuel - 15.8 km per litre

Not bad..

I imagine if drive 110km/h constant, no air con, maybe can get 17 km per litre, hehe!

Same here, highway KL to PG, just reach half-tank on 370km with 120~140km/h. Continue driving here & there in PG island, and a refill, calc FC ~15.8km/L.

Yeah, in my calculation also, it wasn't 100% highway driving coz I drove inside KL, then to Damansara, then traffic jam in Bangsar, then I refill. That's why the number was 95% highway lah.

Ok....thanks. On average how long before we take our car to the next service? We can just follow the mileage or we need to service every 3 months? Coz 5k quite hard to achieve within 3 months also. Not to mention 10k

but, what for waste money ... of course umw want people to service by month so can earn more money ...

just service every 5k or 10k, depend what lubricant u use ...

Is it really 5K service since the sticker they put on my car: "Your next service is 6,000km" after my 1K service. Does that mean "1K + 5K"?

When you go to toyota you can ask for normal (not semi sin) oil. It will cost around 70. Then you can also asnwer the questionaire and get 20 free discount off too.

No the service come in 1k then 5k, no matter what is 5k the second
