I just got my vios less than a month ago.
Last Wednesday, i came out to find my tyres on the left side of my car punctured...when i checked the caps, somebody put stones in them for the air to come out. On the right side, the back tyre was missing the cap. I suspected whoever it was, was also gonna let go air until someone chased them off i think. Is it possible that this was done to steal the tyres? Just asking...

btw, after dat i went to a tyre shop for those guys to double check my tyres see got other things (e.g. nails n stuff) puncturing the tyres.. luckily nothing...

but noob question here, if the tyre shop ppl had to dismantle the tyres to check and then fix it back, do I have to rebalance the tyres?

car i not tht worry. coz installed a better alarm. at least better than stock alarm... i dun trust stock alarm... need 2 install rim nut lock d...

Toyota become those thief favourite target esp it's new one. I always avoid parking in dark place or else, not only the tyre, the whole car will be gone case.

Even some they come to you and take your car away just right in front of your eyes.

Wonder anyone of you install v cool and how much, i was quote RM1550.00 cash. Is it expensive, becos last time when i install on my Perdana also about the same price, but that is few years back.

Next time you go service center there call them photostat the chart for you.

I saw the chart when i go to service. The receptionist pointed for me to see.

Roughly how much is the maintenance for Vios per month? I mean include everything...service, wash car, petrol. I think I'll go about 100++km per week. Just gone thru the 1st service, but still din drive after that service coz my dad drive back to hometown 2 service it

Actually i dunno the price but i did saw the Shah Alam service center point me to the chart on the table ( i dunno others center got or not) and show me the price. Or you can call back the sales person to ask for the price.

i own the vios, the price is not i listen from fren or any forum but self experience ...



normal service, labour alone is rm70 ++

for 10k, the oil is rm170++, filter is rm30++, gasket few ringgit and labour rm70, total rm270++

check ur booklet 20k need change brake fluid or not, if need then prepare rm330++

for 20k service, because do extra thing, the labour alone is rm100++

Errr ... Aren't RM 1550 is considered cheap already? I not sure, i got mine for RM 1600 whole car V-Cool Elite. But if they said mixed with some other brand and only front and rear mirror is V-Cool then the price is cheaper, RM 1400.

I forgot the another brand that they gonna mixed but got 1 advantage one ... they said is harder for ppl to break the window ... I saw a lot of BM and Mers installing that package when i went to tint my car ...

cost me about Rm114.40
using semi synthetic engine oil = 83.50
oil filter = 29.20
gasket = 1.70

i dunno wat gasket is tat...
