How long u been using hotlink?
Is this for new customers or like those who has been using hotlink for many many years? Like loyalty

I got an SMS for an offer to be upgraded to Hotlink Prepaid plan. Currently on the #Hotlink EM/EC plan. Checking the FAQ page, it doesn't seem like there's much difference between the two. I usually opt for one of the HotlinkMU promos anyway which can be more cost effective than the actual plan's passes. Does anyone know if there are any benefits to switching? What are the sort of HotlinkMU promos that appear on the Prepaid plan?

Dunno how it works. Mine not very new sim but not super old either. Mnp to hotlink early last year so exactly 1 year with pantas. Not a very active sim though, i bought 365 validity and let it idle for a year.

i m on the RM 45 postpaid plan/ every month my quote is only 30GB(4G) and 30GB (5G).

but the 5G never have the coverage and always low connection.

end up my 4G data used up very fast and force to buy more data.

can I know I should upgrade the plan or other better deals ?

Maybe consider Hotlink prepaid RM40 at 6Mbps FUP 100GB

Yes, but there is a grace period where inactive but still keeping the number. Different providers/plans give different grace period (30/50/60 days for example)
If you are using the number actively, you shouldn't run into this problem.
If you are using it as not primary, maybe set up reminders or auto reload on ewallets like boost.

what if this number is a sub line ?

Not really... if 012, can goto Maxis and sign some super duper expensive plan to get back the number... Not sure about other telco...

i just called maxis to switch to prepaid plan, and instead they offer additional 20 GB for 6 months free of charge (I am currently on RM 45 postpaid plan). after 6 months, reduce to 15GB for another 6 months free.

If this solves your needs then go ahead and stick with postpaid. Is there any other terms like contract extension?

Am using the latest hotlink prepaid plan, if still has rm
5 and valid until 7 June, could I change to pantas plan after 7 June?

Or changing plan must do during sim active?

Logically, as you will not be able to make call/ SMS during grace period even with available credit, your credit is also suspended for everything else during inactive period.

But why need to wait till it enters inactive period before switching?

I wish to port to Hotlink pantas from Yoodo. I check hotlink prepaid page only has Prepaid sim card. Should i buy the Hotlink Prepaid sim card, once activate can change to Pantas plan? or can buy Pantas sim card directly?

Just port in hotlink prepaid 1.0 which is only version available, once port in successfully, top up rm5 and change plan to pantas, rm2 will be deducted.

Hotlink prepaid Pantas has fast internet and ultra fast internet, may I know any convincing speed test result available from sifu here?

Using for my android player in car. Currently can't view live 360 view due to "Device reception not stable". Hope to find the best plan for it.
