ya the rants never stops, that's win11 was always dubbed as beta version even the latest 22H2. (The laggy new task manager ui needs more optimization)

The file automation script I am using to clear useless files which works fine in Windows 10 all along is broken in Windows 11. After executing, file explorer becomes unresponsive. Need to restore back default permissions using icacls backup file.

Not impressed with 2H22 at all.

I believe Microsoft is working on tightening the security. It basically very common. First of all, Windows 11 is not using the core from Windows 10. A lot of software and games cannot run well with Windows 11 too.

You shouldn't use any apps that is specifically design for Windows 10 only. Windows 11 is not Windows 10.

Apps compatibility I not sure as I normally use latest version apps.

But for games, I never face any games that can run at Windows 10 cannot run at Windows 11, included those old classic games.

To me, games compatibility is very well done and no issue.

I run self-script to clean those sleepstate files because overtime it can get bloated but it seems to break on Windows 11.
VM performance on Windows 11 is much slower than Windows 10 too, thanks to mandatory TPM. vmad.gif

Lucky I never use sleep mode. I just shutdown when not in use.

For VM wise, I did not feel any differences in performance. 😅
