Have been using 65" X90H for 3.5 years and finally decided to upgrade to 75" X90L
Got it for RM7,819 (RM8,999 - 10% GSC discount - RM250 LaLaport voucher - RM30 Sony rewards) at Sony Store BBCC last weekend
Free additional 3 years warranty (5 years in total) + RM500 TnG eWallet + Sony Bravia Core + Logitech wireless keyboard and mouse
I believe this is the best deal in town after surveying for 3 months
Can't wait for my new tv delivery on Friday

Enjoy the TV... too bad Sony mini-led is just too expensive...

Samsung and Hisense mini-led are so affordable nowadays.

You spare no expense when comes to home entertainment.

A7000 is god-tier soundbar in my opinion.

Yes I've tried it. I wouldn't say adding RS5 improves a lot but you can definitely hear sounds coming from the rear speakers
In my opinion, RS5 is not a must but SW5 is a must
I bought RS5 was because of OCD and to enable 360 Spatial Sound Mapping with A7000

Yes you're right
I was considering 77" A80L but my finance minister said no because the price gap with 75" X90L was too big (RM9,000)
Could invest the money on a better quality sofa which is equivalently important for living room

That's the problem with Sony

Only x90L worth the money now

You make correct decision since you have to get Sony, x90L is the only choice worth getting

Bought USB 3.0 (RTL-8153 ) to RJ45 1000mbps Gigabit Lan Adapter from Shopee at RM20.92 (after discount RM5 shop voucher) n deducted coins further with final paid is RM15.69. It work well for my 65X85L at speedtest around 700mbps (unifi 800mbps). Speed wise slightly below my other devices Laptop or Nvidia shield tv which most can get Max speed of 800mpbs.

Thinking to get ethernet adapter for my Sony TV KD-X85L. USB 3.0 to Gigabit Ethernet Network Adapter can be used and only RTL8153 chipset compatible instead of AX88179 chipset. There are plenty of RTL8153 chipset Ethernet Network Adapter from cheap around RM20 up to TP-link UE300 more than RM80. Anyone using those cheap but reliable one? Or must go for brand one?

Sony OLED tv is really too expensive for now

What is the best deal I can expect now in January 2024 for a 55" X90L?

My 9-year old Sony is showing lines and so time to retire after many years of service. I would appreciate pointers to where in KL I can get the best deal now preferably with extended warranty for a 55" X90L.

Beside the processor, what are the short comings on the X85L as compared with the X90L?
