UPDATE: 2nd Jab diary / 11 July 12.10 pm

1st day: No feel
2nd day: Only slight numbness at injection spot, can raise arm normally
3rd day: Same like Day 2, slightly better
4th day onwards: no side effect anymore

******************************************************************************************************************************************
UPDATE: 2nd Jab / 7 JUL, 2 PM

yay took my 2nd AZ jab at PWTC just now.

Please note the police will only allow us to enter PWTC 30 min prior to appointment time stated in MySejahtera. Not sure if they still allow family with same date different timing to masuk sekali or not.

I do noticed many ppl standing and wait by the main road.

Please bring umbrella if its rainy/cloudy especially if you park at Basement/outdoor.
Coz you need to walk all the way from car park, thru the car park entrance itself, and walk to PWTC main gate. All elevators / lobby entrance in car park are closed.

Appointment 2 pm, sampai 1.30 pm, no queue terus masuk and cucuk around 1.35 pm, habis observation and left at 1.50 pm.

Total took 20 minutes saja. My station looks quite empty and can see the volunteers are kinda relax and free jer.

Will update if any side-effect arises.

******************************************************************************************************************************************

UPDATE: 2-JUL 12.35am

- I gotten my 2nd dose appointment on 7th July liao, unlike the 1st dose MySejahtera this time tak ada pop up notification.
Sesiapa yang sudah cucuk your AZ once sila semak MySejahtera. Sekian.
- After cucuk my 2nd dose, I will resume to update my status here in this first post.

******************************************************************************************************************************************
Hey guys! So I have taken my first dose of AZ vaccine at PWTC noon just now.
Male, 27 yo, Chinese, healthy with no hospital admission record.
No medication, no allergies.

Note:
1) It seems PWTC allow whole family to take the vaccine in same slot even if they gotten different time/date slot, remember to check with the staffs there. My gf family tried and it is allowed.
2) Anybody received COVID vaccine must wait for 7 days before being allowed to donate blood, called Pusat Darah Negara and they confirmed this.
- If have any symptoms, must wait 14 days instead.

Summary:
1) Smooth vaccination process, overall takes 30 minutes for queue and consultation, 10 seconds to jab, then another 15-20 minutes for observation. The staffs and volunteers there very nice and helpful too, no shouting no garang no bad attitude.
In total, took 50 minutes to settle everything.
Oh ya if possible bring your own pen, coz need to fill and sign consent forms there. Or you can just borrow from staff / fellow vaccine receiver nearby. I don't see the pens being sanitized la, maybe they do it periodically only.
Aircond a bit strong, wear jacket if you are takut sejuk kind. Dont wear long sleeve shirt though otherwise susah to jab your arm.

2) Better take grab there, passed by the parking lot and it looked super full. Not sure about the parking at Sunway Putra Mall though.
I went there for lunch after my jab, the mall itself looks not crowded. No Raya decoration and feel too...

3) There will be a 1 to 1 consultation with doctor before the jab, can prepare your questions and concerns then consult them.

Questions asked quite standard la:
- Any illness or not
- Taking any medication or not
- Any allergy or not
- Any severe symptom from past vaccination or not
- Pregnant or breastfeeding or not

4) Dont worry the jab not painful, and really very fast. Saw the expiry date of the vaccine of my batch is 30th June though.
Wonder if the vaccine is near expiry, will it be less effective? hmm.gif

5) Symptom wise, it's been 3 hours already - other than a bit soreness, no scar no swollen yet.

6) Next jab should be 12 weeks later, so I guess next jab is around final week of July.

7) Adverse Event Following Immunisation (AEFI), please report via the MySejahtera App or contact the nearest clinic/hospital immediately for medical assistance.

-Faint or light-headed
-Changes in heartbeat
-Shortness of breath /wheezing
-swelling of lips, face or throat
-hives or rash
-nausea or vomiting
-stomach pain

Though during pre-vaccination consultation, the doctor said can try over-the-counter medication first, if the condition not improving, only then go to hospital.

Will update here in case I developed new symptoms lol.
******************************************************************************************************************************************

DAILY UPDATES: (Panadol taken to date: 0)

Symptom-free since Day 7.

Day 6 (10 May):
Morning - feeling a bit mixture of feverish / chill. But measured body temp and it's just 37 Celsius. Must be caused by Monday blue lol.
Injection spot no more stiffness / bengkak, can raise arm and pusing pusing like normal already.

Day 5 (9 May):
Totally fine, no symptoms whatsoever at all.

Day 4 (8 May):
Arm still stiff, but around Day 3 night started to have red spots on my left shoulder (the arm I took jab).
After waking up on Day 4, the red spots have subsided. Will monitor closely.
Other than that, no other side-effect coming out yet.

Day 3 (7 May):
Day 3 and still doing fine haha!
Yesterday evening terkena some rain and felt a bit feverish, but measured my temp and it was normal.
Arm still sore and stiff, will only feel it when lifting the arm though.

Day 2 (6 May):
As of 11.40 am, my 2nd dose appointment in June has been removed, could be technical glitch, cukur!

Morning guys! It's Day 2 morning and my arm actually feels slightly stiffer after waking up. Other than that, no other symptoms whatsoever.

Important: Never cucuk your dominant arm, and those work in factory setting etc that requires manual operations on heavy machinery, please be mindful.

Urgent update: KKM has also just sent me notification 7 am just now saying my 2nd dose has been scheduled on 2nd June.

The thing is, according to Malaysiakini: "It found that the efficacy is 55.1 percent when the doses were administered less than six weeks apart, but this improves with increasing intervals up to 81.3 percent when administered 12 or more weeks apart." SOS 1

And Nature, a very reputable science journal: "The interim results from AstraZeneca do not add more clarity on how to optimize dosing, because all participants were given two doses four weeks apart. Falsey says that a longer gap would probably induce a stronger immune response, but a briefer interval is more practical in the middle of a pandemic. The WHO recommends an interval of 8 to 12 weeks." SOS 2

So, I don't understand why KKM is pushing for such short interval, the efficacy could have dropped to 50 percent lol.
A herd of ppl with 50 percent vs another herd of ppl 80 percent efficacy, that's like grade D vs grade A in exams.
Unless KKM plans to introduce booster vaccines a few months later?

By right, since we have taken the first dose, the COVID virus is less deadly and less likely to spread through us already.
Why not wait longer for better efficacy? Do it properly once and for all la. doh.gif

Please check with your friends/family that have already taken 1st jab and see if they have received 2nd jab appointment in early Jun too?

You're probably 1 in a quarter then.. both my sisters who had their AZ first shot in the UK, had fever the next day that lasted 1.5 days. 2nd shot had barely any side effects.

Both working in the COVID ward in the UK, one of my sister had contracted the virus last year before the vaccination drive.

actually have to see their registration is under who's
own account or as dependant
because if registered as dependant...1 of the question being ask in the form is will you be attending the vaccination with your dependant

that meant there is no transport issue and phase 2 and 3 can be implement simultaneously

Mind if I ask your sisters gotten their 2nd dose in what interval? 8 weeks apart or 12 weeks?

wow why are they pushing for 2nd dose in less than 2 weeks? they should administer 1st dose to a large group of then in 11th/12th week only ask folks to go back for 2nd dose.

AstraZeneca is widely available now la.. we will have stock haha

wow why are they pushing for 2nd dose in less than 2 weeks? they should administer 1st dose to a large group of then in 11th/12th week only ask folks to go back for 2nd dose.

AstraZeneca is widely available now la.. we will have stock haha

Because the stocks they have now are nearing expiry date?

doesn't make sense. i'm still in the queue system. they could have given to others in waiting list.

I really wonder these ppl got study the vaccines and how to administer them for each doses before or not.

Sore, stiff arm, chill & fever mean vaccine work. Body will make antibody.

If nothing happen, most likely vaccine not work. Vaccine destroyed.
(which can happen if vaccine injected to vain instead of muscle)

besides current stock nearing expiry. there is also another issue of not getting new stock in time.. if give to you now.. after 12 weeks(maybe more) both you and TS probably will not get anything..

Lol didn't know vaccine also can do clearance before closing shop, though KKM did said those missed the appointment will be queues at the back of the line.
Maybe they already carry the vaccines and since not taken and dont want to waste it/transport balik, they just cucuk whoever at the scene.

i heard this is also happening nationwide

due to Phase 2 high noshow rates
so any body that bring in their carer also tends to get vaccinated.

You should be there at least 20 minutes prior to your appointment, which means 9.40 am.

Go also no use, the staffs there will only ask ppl to line up 20 min prior.
Process kinda like:
-20 min prior, staffs start calling ppl to line up
-then masuk and sit at designated waiting area
-go in for temp screening and can MySejahtera for attendance
-sit in a hall for a while, then move to corridor to fill up consent forms
-proceed to consultation, then jab
-finally, stay at observation area for around 20 min, get your vaccination card, then can balik

Overall settle in less than 1 hour jer.

Sure pretty la, but vaccination booths are split by gender, so most female nurses are in the female area
But the jab itself very fast la, you will only see your nurse for less than 3 seconds to verify name, then he/she will cucuk your arm beside u
So actual face-to-face moment, maybe around 5 seconds jer if add on 2 seconds of sating thank you lol tongue.gif

Day 4 (8 May):
Arm still stiff, but around Day 3 night started to have red spots on my left shoulder (the arm I took jab).
After waking up on Day 4, the red spots have subsided. Will monitor closely.
Other than that, no other side-effect coming out yet.

We dont have the luxury to stay at home or in office. Some of us have to go out and meet people on the job. Some clients wear mask, some stubborn don't wear. Already got a few kena positive. Ayam feel lucky havent kena, so dont want to take chance to kena covid before vaccination.

Mask itself and social distancing offers little protection now.

Don't be. Side effects normal. I am much better now after 24 hours. Body aches minimal and I'm able to work. Can always take Panadol too. In my case I had some rashes form up on my leg and neck yesterday but they came and went away very fast.

Day 6 morning: feeling a bit mixture of feverish / chill. But measured body temp and it's just 37 Celsius. Must be caused by Monday blue lol.
Injection spot no more stiffness / bengkak, can raise arm and pusing pusing like normal already.

Panadol taken to date: 0

Depending on workload and boss, in my case my boss and HR gave me greenlight to take sick leave whenever needed.
So far havent taken any sick leave yet.

take it easy, if you takut might increase your BP, which is monitored 30 minutes after jab. i see some shot up near to 200 which might lead to other complications.

try to relax

Employers provided special leave for vaccine day. And if got fever after that, can take MC.

Took the jab yesterday for 10am slot at WTCKL. Since i stay at sentul, i took the ampang line train and got there after 2 stations.

I reached there around 9:45, the hall is quite empty. Volunteers are everywhere to point you to your jab station. First thing to do is scan normal mysejahtera, then they have you seat to fill in 2 consent forms. Protip: bring own pen, faster no need wait for them to give. (Time here 2 minutes)

Then you go straight into your station and register using the mysejahtera vaccine page QR code. (1 minute)

Afterwards you'll get ushered to the consultation table where you can ask any questions and concerns you have about your health. (2 minutes here)

Then straight away into the jab station. They jab you then asked you to scan another QR code using mysejahtera vaccine code. (30 seconds)

You'll be ushered to the observation hall. Depends on your health condition, you'll be held there for either 15 or 30 minutes. They call your name by groups to give out the vaccine card and have a quick debriefing on what to do afterwards. (I stayed there for 15 minutes only)

So by 10:10 i was already out of WTCKL heading home. No immediate side effects.

After 11 hours, i started to have headache. Took 2 panadol pills and rest with plenty of drinks. Woke up for sahur at 5, feeling heavy on the head, chills, shivers, and massive body ache. So i skipped sahur and went back to bed. Now 11:30am, 25 hours after the jab, my body still feeling a little sore, but no more headache or body ache.

Conclusion:
Morning session the hall is empty. Go early, you might get in early. Volunteers are very friendly and helpful.

Experience 10/10
Side effects 5/10

2 days after the jab.
Only some pain on the injection site, been feeling dizziness, but I don't think it is the side effect of the jab. Most probably caffeine/nicotine addiction kicked in. Besides that I feel fine, probably will do some workout today.

nope, I did tell the consultant that i have my BP readings with me ( I took it myself for 4 days)

The doc looked at it and said it's still okay (my readings was around 138/95 for 3 out of 4 days)

Bring your prescribed meds if you have and tell them if you have any surgery records and allergies. They wont test you, but they'll take your words for it and take into considerations

I think it depends on age and fitness level. Most never indicate their age and whether they have high BP or diabetes when they list their side effects here. Since they are vaccinating people in their eighties with all sorts of diseases and they survived then it should be ok and endure some side effects.

during consent in the consent counter after registration counter
the doctor will check with your medical conditions
plus this volunteer az vaccination already published the clear info about contraindication
do raise your concern during the consent session with the medical officer
if not suitable they will stop and wont let you receive vaccination

Those with diabetes and high blood pressure are being vaccinated now under phase 2 because they are at high risk of death if they get covid so what is the point of health check. The more illness you have and the older you are the more reason you have to vaccinate.

Mine was 2pm 11 may at PWTC. They put the poster about no walk in. Many times officers announced no walk in since no vaccine already.

But people (walk in) waited and waited until closing time at 5pm. Then the officers asked the people to queue and around 40+ people were given the vaccine. I salute those doctors, nurses, volunteers who agreed to go home late

My jab is supposed to be 31st. Anyone knows if it's possible to take it earlier?

Was supposed to attend tea ceremony mid May, but since MCO implemented the event has been cancelled. So now thinking if can move my date earlier, I can take the shot now

Yes, to and from. As long you have your scheduled appointment date on your MySejahtera.

Also. Please read news. If not at least read Twitter.

The police stop you from getting vaccinated. As reasonable person should understand that you’re playing a greater role for the community by vaccinating.

To answer your question again, no they shouldn’t stop you.

This video does a walk-through of PWTC vaccination flow. The video talks about going to the right station and our station number should be stated in our MySejahtera appointment.

Do you see a station in your appointment? There isn't one in mine

Nice share and very informative vaccination experience writing TS, well done!
I completed my 2 doses of Pfizer BioNTech Comirnaty about a month ago without any post-vaccination side effects. For those who are still in hesitation, don’t be afraid and start registering now to get your vaccination done.

Wow seems like the new process is more complex, utilizes new halls, and increased their stations from 2 to 3.

Ya MySejahtera shown mine as World Trade Center Kuala Lumpur (Station 2) previously.

14 hours in after 1st dose.. seems like palms more sweaty then usual. Can feel whole body minor aching and burning up. Like typical fever signs. But not sure if this is just hysteria cuz family member check temps are normal only.

Diarrhoea 3 times today so far.

dude...once blood clot, you might be on blood thinning for life and require regular checks.

diet and etc becomes your next to deciding factor...

and if it is a temporary state..., which is rare as well....it just comes and go...

if it can clot one place, there are chances/probability to clot elsewhere...

this is FYI, and not mean to anti-vax your decision.

you can look/read it up if you want to...

if young already develop....you might just need to be more careful in the rest of your life....
anyway...live healthy is the key thing.

reduce any inflammation in your body....

ie: if one develops it...so, what is the next vaccination going to be?...which vaccine?...do one need to follow up with another?...or no vaccination in the future?.

The incidence of serious blood clots from:

The Contraceptive Pill: 0.6%

The AZ vaccine: 0.00017%

At current situation in Malaysia at least, I believe people are more prone to get COVID-19 than getting serious bloodclot lol.
Someone covid can spread and kill the sick / old people too.

Not reflected in MySejahtera app yet, but should be around end of July (12 weeks from 1st jab)
Have insurance plans in place and 14 days Medical leave available, so in case of serious side effect I just rest at home/hospital jer.

QUOTE(Orzie @ May 5 2021, 05:35 PM)

2) Anybody received COVID vaccine must wait for 14 days before being allowed to donate blood, called Pusat Darah Negara and they confirmed this.

Will update here in case I developed new symptoms lol.
******************************************************************************************************************************************

DAILY UPDATES: (Panadol taken to date: 0)

80% immunity herd is wayy safer than 50% immunity herd lol.

Adverse Event Following Immunisation (AEFI), please report via the MySejahtera App or contact the nearest clinic/hospital immediately for medical assistance.

-Faint or light-headed
-Changes in heartbeat
-Shortness of breath /wheezing
-swelling of lips, face or throat
-hives or rash
-nausea or vomiting
-stomach pain

Though during pre-vaccination consultation, the doctor said can try over-the-counter medication first, if the condition not improving, only then go to hospital.

My wife and I got the same date but different timing, one in the morning and me late evening at WTCKL. Do they allow both of us to go together?

Thank you

For those who are driving to WTC KL for their vaccination appointment (Oxford/AstraZeneca), please note of the following:

1. Park at the basement, period. Forget about Level 4 (Aras 4) parking as it is almost always full unless you come very early but do keep in mind the parking rate here is RM10 per entry. Compare that to the basement parking it is only RM6 for 2 hours (possibly RM3/hour). The parking lot offers parking ticket and Touch & Go options.

2. After you are parked at basement, follow the signboards which are clear and easy to find to the vaccination center at WTC KL. If you aren't sure can ask the RELA who are there. In summary you have to exit the car park (walking of course) and turn left after you have exited the car park.

3. There are only Station 1, 2, & 3. The MySejahtera application will indicate which station you are assigned too. So check before hand and ask the police if you aren't sure who are quite helpful. Queue accordingly to your station as all the 3 stations queue up at the same place but in different lanes.

4. Don't try to cut queue at all times (outside or inside) like seriously. You'll get sounded by the RELA/Police. Just stay at your lane. They will ensure those queue up first will go in first, so don't worry even if someone starts to queue up at an empty lane.

5. Keep your MySejahtera app open at all times because at every single entry there will be checking it and asking you to scan the QR code. Please bring you original ID whether NRIC or Passport (for foreigners).

6. Please fill up both consent form (they are the same) and leave the signature part empty. Don't sign the consent form until you are with consulting doctors who will ask you few questions before he ask you to sign and he will sign the witness portion.

7. Follow the SOP at all times -- do I have to say this really? bruce.gif bruce.gif

Sekian, Terima kasih.

Day 1: Jab at 2pm, went back still felt OK.
Day 2: Woke up lethergic/tired as hell, slept all afternoon. Thigh and calfs were sore. Pop panadol at night and instantly felt better, went to sleep at 11pm.
Day 3: Woke up ok liao, kek.

p/s: bring a pen, line up, follow instructions and say thank you to everyone there. Relatively smooth experience 8/10 will go again.

Today don't have to queue outside. Polis will call the appointment time and let you enter the building. Pls note warga emas and OKU can just enter even if you are early. Don't have to follow appointment time. Today seems quick, organized and friendly service.

If develop serious side effects can go to any clinic or hospital like Pantai or Prince.gomen pay.

I had my first jab in late evening yesterday.

Today when I woke up still feeling OK. Then after 10am I started to feel tired. After taking Panadol now much better.

Overall, the side effects I experienced weren't very bad. Does that mean my immune system is weak hmm.gif

i think is too strong... collateral damage to your body biggrin.gif but should be easy to recover if you are healthy

some vaccine like BCG if not mistaken, no side effects = the jab is useless -> need to re-jab

Panadol stop the fever and ache means it stopped the antibodies production process? If bearable I think better to let our body do its thing without painkillers for maximum protection. They said it would be over in 48 hours

Ask the same question to the doctors there. No issues for panadol. Recommended even by them to reduce the fever effect. Only some strong medicine is not recommended, but i forgot to save the name as i don't consume all that medicine

24 hours since getting the shot. yesterday just light headed and sleepy.

Night slightly fever and the wound hurt if I put pressure on it. Those who sleep on their side choose the correct arm to inject for peaceful sleep.

Morning continue to experience slight fever, chills and body ache. Lucky no headache which I hate.

Right now I can feel all the symptoms getting better. can go out if I want.

Never took panadol

Nope, not true. As you can see below antibodies develop for 97% after taking a single jab of AZ, while for Sinovac you need 2 jabs.

AEFI (for most, not necessarily all)

Arm will feel pain, so choose the less dominant side
The injection itself is painless, before you know it, it's done, champion nurses - salute them
arm pain is mainly due to the vaccine doing it's job and it'll be apparent only after a while.
Those who sleep turning from one side to another - you most likely won't be able to trash around the bed so much for the first few days

AstraZeneca is a viral vector vaccine, so fever and chillness is expected as the body raises it's thermostat to a higher temperature. This normally happens 11-13 hours after the jab. Nothing to be afraid of here, simple science. Once the higher temp is set, your body begins working (the shivers) to increase its temperature. You will feel cold because you are now at a lower temperature than what your brain thinks.
wear comfortable clothing (short sleeved highly recommended due to it's practicality for the occasion), have a jacket handy as it can get rather cold certain areas.
bring one or two pens, isotonic drinks (Gatorade, 100+ etc)
know you station number (details in the mysejahtera)
keep MySejahtera open / standby as you're required to scan at several checkpoints
you'll need to switch between the scan page and the vaccination page, don't panic if you're holding up the line, malaysians generally are a tolerant lot
stay healthy, stay safe, don't cut queue

I was vaccinated yesterday and until now I feel the same. No fever, chills, etc. Just a bit sore at the arm (like getting any other injection). Hmm...does this mean there is no immune reaction and vaccine didn’t take effect?

Not necessarily, post-injection symptoms vary significantly among people who've received the vaccine, so how you feel after the shot isn't a litmus test for whether the immunization worked.

It is possible you didn't get the full dose like the guy who posted video proof . Heard he went back and got another shot.
For the next 3 months you will be asking did I get it or not

Hey everyone, reminder to check your elderly's MySejahtera.
My dad (70 years old) finally gotten his 1st dose appointment next week.
Nobody from KKM / Vaccination centre called him though, I thought they should be calling the elderly to double check and confirm the slot?

Later buta-buta missed appointment pula, or not enough time to make arrangement.

Coz I remembered they would call, but I guess the gomen forgot about this:

KUALA LUMPUR, Jan 29 — The government will directly contact senior citizens and patients with underlying diseases from health facilities across the public and private sectors to offer them Covid-19 vaccination.

Science, Technology and Innovation Minister Khairy Jamaluddin said the government currently has records of patients registered in the public health care system.

“We have a database of senior citizens and people with comorbidities who are registered in the national health system,” Khairy told CodeBlue in an exclusive interview Monday.

He added that the national Covid-19 vaccination programme would also approach private hospitals and clinics to get contact details of their patients with chronic illnesses.

this is my symptom

i only feel something 6hours after the injection. Feel a very slight bit of fever but when check temp its still within normal.

then after 8hours, the fever is real and i got a headache. i took panadol then its ok. for the fever it still ongoing until the next morning which is 24hours after injection. I keep wearing the Koolfever. Then maybe 25hours after injection until today nothing happens.

total panadol taken was only 2pcs. but i took 2 because the 1st one is expired medicine
i only realized it after i notice why the medicine doesnt work.
so i took another one that isn't expired then my headache gone.

Just took mine today at IDCC, 11am appointment.

So far normal. Expecting the side effect to be the same when I had Flu A.

415pm: now feel a bit shoulder ache.. not sure if because wrong sitting posture.

Took mine on 31/5, 11.30 am.

Got fever and headaches around 10pm and took 2 panadols.

My wife however who took at the same time and a family member who is around 70+ who took 2 days earlier are fine. Probably it’s just me who’s weak... haha

830am (20h 30min after first dose) - still no side effect.. only sore muscle where the jab was

I'm beginning to feel they gave me saline water.

EDIT: Just feel slightly lethargic and fatigue.. but nothing that's stopping me from doing normal daily routine

With the news and socmed posts everywhere saying it's jam packed, I would recommend taking Grab though.
Later u have to park far far pula.
No drowsiness but some ppl might start experiencing stiffness around injection spot after a while

actually adult has long forgotten how's its like to have an injection, injection spot numb/cramp/ pain for few days is very normal, coz the moment inject into your muscle, it would injure the muscle already. just like you do extreme stretching, sports, exercise and stuffs, the next day sure like kena banged by lorry.

experiencing side effect sickness like fever, vomit, dizziness means your body is reacting and adapt to the vaccine, just like babies having fever after vaccination, which isn't a bad sign either. but of course extreme cases like faint, irregular blood pressure or irregular condition means your body are reacting, allergy or possible rejecting it.

pussy adults, macam end of the world doh.gif

Hmmm, it’s not out of the ordinary to have no symptoms at all except for arm pain at jab area.

I’ve read before it’s normal for some people to not have any symptoms after covid vaccine. Go google it

I got my first AZ jab yesterday morning.

Parked at Seri Pacific hotel which is just besides PWTC. Plenty of parking available but it’s at RM6/hour. Whole vaccination process was super smooth. Took me less than 45 minutes to complete everything and leave. Very well organized indeed!

Effects wise, slight fever at night but super major headache throughout the night that got me popping Panadols. Feeling better once I woke up, no fever but with just some slight headache still. Overall body feeling tired and just want to sleep.

That’s my story so far.

What are the usual rates at Sunway Mall? What is the requirement to get parking fee waived?

Initially I registered for IDCC, but they ended up throwing me to WTCKL. I'm not familiar with this area and KL being KL parkings are expensive everywhere and most likely full as well.

i went on last saturday, during that viral havoc, messy full of crowd at wtckl's ppv.

i drive n parked at sunway putra mall at 3pm. my schedule was on 3:30, but because of the delay, i got my jab at 6:30pm.

left around 8pm. parking was RM9 (i used TnG so i cant claim free 2 hrs parking)

vaccine kicked in around 9pm that night, i started shivering. took 2 biji panadol and was ok.

next day on sunday i got fever attack 3 times. monday morning again kena fever. but now im ok, just my arm still sore

No. I was at IDCC 31st May, there was a couple husband and wife.. they asked the same thing (husband on later date) but wasn't allowed in. So husband waited for wife at the waiting area close to the exit point.

muscle ache la... few days will recover depends on individual. muscle ache only comes after you sleep and relax your body.

if swollen or muscle ache after injection then u hav to check with a doc.

Got my AZ jab 2 days ago, yesterday started noticing around 10 red spots on my body (non itchy and non painful), some very tiny and some a bit bigger. Bright red.

Today got more. Anyone of yall experienced this too? Will be going clinic later to get it checked out, but I wonder if I’m just being too paranoid.

Yeah good luck bro, stay calm as being anxious won't solve anything. Know the next action for you to do, and do it.

Hope to hear from you on the findings smile.gif

What are the usual rates at Sunway Mall? What is the requirement to get parking fee waived?

Initially I registered for IDCC, but they ended up throwing me to WTCKL. I'm not familiar with this area and KL being KL parkings are expensive everywhere and most likely full as well.
*
I think for 1 hour plus do cost average rm6 - rm8. But waive for vaccine process at that mall, need to meet the cs at the mall center, so tix become rm2

BMI 26-28.. borderline HBP.. 32, no smoking, no drinking.. except for a shit ton of coffee and siew yok.. what do u think?

I HIIT probably 2-3 times a week.. My friends who are cross-fitters got their fevers and chills within 12 hours after AZ... so i doubt exercise plays a role here.

https://www.abc.net.au/news/science/2021-01...immune/13031918
QUOTE
The strength of muscle
First up: unlike the layer of fat just under our skin, muscle has an excellent blood supply to help disperse the vaccine, says Joanna Groom, an immunology researcher at the Walter and Eliza Hall Institute.

Muscle contains and recruits immune cells called dendritic cells, which take up antigens quickly and stick them on their surface, like a flag.

...

Longer — and safer — training sessions
Muscle is a bit of a Goldilocks tissue for doling out vaccines to our immune cells: not too slow, but not too fast either.

As well as providing a ready pool of dendritic cells, muscle acts as a "deposit", where the vaccine can linger a while and be used over a longer period.

This allows for an extended immune system training session, Dr Groom says, which "is thought to result in maximal activation of the immune system".

A vaccine injected directly into the bloodstream, on the other hand, is vulnerable to destruction.

"There are other nonspecific immune cells that can mop up the vaccine and degrade it before it has the opportunity to get to the lymph node," Dr Groom says.

...

"Muscle helps localise any adverse reactions and minimise them, so it's safer."

siew yok high in fat is ok, eating fat won't make you fat as we were taught, i guess u don't take high carb/sweet food, your coffee sweeten or not? you are an interesting study subject, maybe u can request for antibody test, i'm sure they can provide foc, do update if u get tested. as for yr friends, cant read only 1 factor whether exercise or not, need a set of lifestyle questions to understand better. since it's a human trial, they should collect info like such.

btw, if naturally infected we will get the same antibody (which produced by immune system) as the vaccine right? so getting infected should be same like getting vaccine shot?

I went to a clinic nearby and the doctor told me that it’s a bit early to determine if it’s anything more than just a reaction to the vaccine, so I can continue to monitor a few more days. If I get more spots or if I get more serious episodes of breathlessness (I had very short breathless / chest pain episodes today - one in the morning and one in the afternoon, but over in a few seconds), I should head to a hospital for a more comprehensive check. Doctor said if it’s something more serious they can usually tell after a week or so.

Guess I’ll just monitor at home for now and keep my fingers crossed!

Right now I’m not running any fever and my major body aches seem to have gone. Only having some dizziness / lightheadedness which is new.

Just a few examples of what they look like - there’s a few more on my face, chest and back; and tinier ones on my arms. Doctor said probably not an allergic reaction since they’re not itchy and they don’t seem to be rashes.

the new appearances of these spots appeared how soon after vaccination?

how many of them surfaced after the shot?

are you over weight or obese? do u have healthy diet? high carb/sugar intake? do u smoke? cardiac exercise often prevac? age? any pre-existing condition(s)?

do u previously have any allergy to medicine, if yes what medicine(s)?

I got my vaccine on 1/6, I started noticing the spots at night on 2/6. This morning 3/6 a few more appeared.

Not overweight or obese, within healthy weight for my height. Diet can consider quite okay, eat fruits and veges and I don’t really snack. I don’t smoke and before I sprained my ankle about a month ago I used to jog and do home workouts. 29 years old, no pre-existing condition. As far as I know, no allergy to medicine but since I’ve never really fallen very ill (touch wood), the only medicine I take is like Panadol or cough meds hahahaha

Appearance of tiny blood spots under the skin is one example of a non-fatal case.

End of the day, you guys CONSENTED to this.

You willingly offered up yourselves to be jabbed ya. Despite knowing the risks...

Remember, it's all about consent and freedom of choice.

Good luck.

These AZ blood clots, it happens in first dose or 2nd dose? What are the chances of it happening on 2nd dose if 1st dose no issues?

I posted on another thread but I got a random green bruise on my arm 3rd and 4th day after AZ. It was also the time when I was so weak I almost couldn't stand (not whole day).

Another worrying symptom is my tongue which has been on and off numb 21 days now after AZ, slowly recovering.
My body left side (injection side) also seems a bit off :\

Hey guys!

So sorry coz I’ve been MIA - I rarely log on to this forum and work’s been a bit mad.

Glad to update that I’m alive and kicking. The red spots are still there and as bright red as ever, and a few new small ones popped up.

Got a second opinion from another doctor last week after I started having short dizzy spells, but was again just told to monitor and that I shouldn’t be too alarmed unless I start having noticeable breathing difficulties.

I was looking around online, and came across some tweets of people getting similar bright red spots after the AZ jab, but they actually went a step further to get a full blood test done. Results apparently came back clear. Could be just that this is actually a minor side effect, maybe?

Thank you for all the concern!!!

I think the last round of dizzy spell last week was the last of it. I generally feel way better now and not experiencing any dizziness or other side effects like headache or numbness in limbs. I’m just staring at the red dots and waiting for them to disappear 😄

Nope didn't feel a thing..ok la an ant bite.
Day 1, The jabbed arm will be a bit sore abour 30min after, so driving manual if you're jabbed in left shoulder may be a little tricky.

Day 1 night time.. shoulder pain.. bad sleep for me as I like to sleep on the same left side by default (same as jabbed arm), sleeping on the other arm was unnatural.

Day 2.. arm soreness lessened. Headache all day. Work half day called it quits.

Day 3 today..headache still persisted. Called in sick at work. Slept whole day. Now feeling better.

Surprisingly no fever..I drank lots of water just to be sure.
