The unadulterated original version of NETCF 3.5 is from microsoft is available here: http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details...&displaylang=en

mikehwy,

SKTools will allow you to configure to show SIM card contacts or not. It is under System Tweaks>Tune Up>Phone Edition>Slow SIM items> Yes or No

The rearrangement of contacts, last name, first name or first name, last name can also be configured from the phone. I cannot recall from which application or program.

Ed,

Attached is a wallpaper which I created for my KS20, a beautiful lightning bolt.

Thanks DrWho.

I created one, not really that smooth but works well with S2U2.

Added on December 17, 2008, 8:09 amI've downloaded Asphalt4 - HD version (which can be found in Samsung 8mp fone). Very nice game other than the Ferrari GT Evolution. You won't believe yr playing this on a WM platform. So it's like yr having a fone with PC (WiFi) and PSP altogether. biggrin.gif

Mine is NOT SLOW at all and it's pretty responsive even for such games with so much 3D effect. I think I should take a video when I play games.

Mikey, I think you should seriously consider a HARD RESET to put an end to yr KS20's performance issue.

The new Asphalt 4 above do not use the joystick like Ferrari GT Evolution. I am worry I'll screw up the joystick too. The Asphalt 4 control is on the screen device where touching different locations on the screen controls the car. biggrin.gif

Your contact will be saved in your PC when you sync PROVIDED you have configured what you want to sync at the device. At device goto Active Sync>Menu>Options and choose what you wish to sync.

If you backup with Sprite Backup or Spb Backup you can also choose what you wish to backup. Do not backup system if your device is not working properly. Do the system backup after Hard Reset or ROM flashing with contacts restored.

WM 6.1 ROM flashing details PM to you

It can read SDHC, which means you are not limited to 2GB of Storage Card. I am currently using a 8GB SDHC
Comes with Threaded SMS
Comes with Task Manager, which allows you to close programs not just minimize. Minimizing too many programs is known to cause the device to hang.
Comes with NETCF 3.5

I do not know whether it is possible to roll back to 6.0 once flashed to WM6.1. This is a cooked ROM, warranty will be void once you flash. doh.gif

Flashing details PM to you

Hard restting: -

1. Turn off the LG KS-20 completely
2. Press and hold these three buttons–volume down, Call and power–till the LED (this is beside the front camera) flashes.
3. Release the buttons. That same LED should flash blue/red/green and power up.

1. the screen comes back almost immediately (not 10 minutes ??)
2. the windows screen looking at me (scarry)
3. 1/2 minute later ... it asks me to re align the screen by using stylus to touch the crosses.
4. then .... it prompts me to do several setting preferences, such as date, time, mms etc. i tick the 'skip' option because i guess i can do them later.
5. IT IS BACK !!!!! but why it is done in less than 1 minute ???? i now see the rginal brownish colored LG 'tea cup' (i think it is a cup right???)
the fonts are in the original small size. looks very korean lady wei !!!

Question > is it done already? WHY so fast, in less than 1 minute ???

???????????????????????????????????????????????????????

Added on December 18, 2008, 3:26 pmNote: i will not do anything now until i ve read DrWho's pm about the wm6.1.

1. immediaely after the reset, KS20 was hopelessly slow!!! then, few mintes later, it is back to "ok" state, faster.

2. time and date default at 1st january 2008

I think done liao ????
