i think it might be too short if +25mm..

btw uncle hows the temperature of the ram, does it really goes down a lot ?

I havent had time to really torture my rams yet. ive been concentrating on the cpu oc. i wont know until i start to really torture the rams with hi voltage.

Oh forgot about the 4 dimms thing. U can use 4 of them no probs. Just imagine 2 of the fin units sitting on top of the 1st 2 units. So it kinda forms like a square.

Has anyone tried putting 120mm fan on HR-03 plus?

I did it with HR-03 and dual 12cm fans ...

result superb as the entire card was damn cool and the best part not noisy at all...

did that yesterday..
pointless

the temps difference was like 2-3 degrees for another 106 cfm..

one on top.. and another with a zip tie on the first fan blowing towards the heatpipes.

the big difference was on the ram sinks which gave about 5C less on the rams.

and it was freaking noisy with 2xFM123

do u mind to tell me that is the TR ultra120 extreme (original pack/retail pack)
can support S939 mobo? or do i need to purchase the extra retention kit?

according to the website, for socket 939 you have to buy the retention kit seperately

Yup the stock plate can use for Intel775 n AMD AM2 sockets only.

is interasia have those s939 bracket in stock ??? edifier need some info on this.........

btw something to ask about the HR-07 again uncle, how u stick it to the ram chip ? by thermal paste or just simply snap on clip like

They give u sum thermal tape which sticks on top of the rams. Then on the outside layer it feels like teflon or sumthin. It's really smooth. U jsut slide the HR07 on n thats it. Faster than cooking Maggi mee.

xigmatek value for money, come with a decent fan too if u dun mind the sound too much...........

Thermalright ultra is slightly on the high side of price though........
