The HR-03 Plus can use smaller fans using zip ties.
Wonder can put 120mm fans or not using zip ties?

huh, sopen, i dun think HR-03 will touch ur mobo... It will probably block some PCI slots.

hoping interasia could bring the HR-09U Type 3 and HR-05 SLI/IFX as well.

Total height including a standard size 92mm fan is 8cm.

Added on September 26, 2007, 5:13 amYa u can use zip ties. I'm using thin profile hi speed 70mm fans which are only 10mm thick. I used screws to mount them directly on the fins.





HR05 SLI/IFX got wat. I jsut took 2 units for torture n testing.

here is my scenario.. i'm plan to mod my side panel.. put fan .. like this..



if the total height from mobo to top is too height. so i need to relocate my fan to other place (plan to blow air direct to my gc, and north/south bridge)..

edit: im not do the mod.. i hv send my acrylic to bombman.. so need to know the height b4 doing mod..

Any chance interasia will bring this new stuff in ?? i think this will be a good edition to the hr-03 or even the stock cooler for 8800GTS

Wah! Now the gfx oso got bekside cooler d. It shud be really good coz I can tell u the back of the GTX get really really hot. Burning hot actually.

no need GTX, mine gts also burn fingers............ i was thinking making my own heat pipe cooler from copper tube a few days back and shopping for materials............but now no need can buy 1 too..........

the retainers were for 92mm

anything else is zip tie...

heck u can even go 15cm as long ure zip ties hold.. if there is such a fan size

got 14cm fan .. besides no need zip ties can just use the twist string ...

those that used to tie out wires when got a new keyboard or mouse ,...

get a roll for 5m at RM3 only ..... some even got color selection ...

Bro, can post pics. I would like to see how the 12cm fan looks like together with the HR-03 plus in the case. I was thinking of doing this setup myself but afraid that it would somehow look out of place.
