What's the best way to remove the stock HSF on 8800gtx after removing the screws? Do you just pull it off or there is a way to do it?
*
Best is not to cool off too long before removing, run the card for 20-30mins then cool off like 5-10mins, remain a bit of heat, dont direct 90* pull off, turn left / right to loose the contact thermal tape, then clean deep and apply new thermal paste (GPU) then carefully stick the thermal tape on ram/chip sink on,

For more detail you can go to product page for step by step instructions wink.gif

Happy modding

how is ultima90i ar?...planning to replace my hsf..but dun know which one to select..lol...somemore my case cant fit big hsf...headache headache tongue.gif tongue.gif
*
Ultima 90i is like a slim down model of Untra120, not too bad for Duo or X2 system for OCed or Non OCed,
In advance you can use not only 90mm fan, also 120mm! drool.gif

Actually they are similar where ever you get the TR from, the price also quite standard, in BULK you can just order online so dont have to go down to LYP and jam there for hours,
But if you used to travel to KL / city center then its fine to get from LYP,
We also will try our best to get more shops / dealers in LYP, also a wider range of products,

For the time being you can head to Edifier showroom to purchase or booking

HR-03GT is open for pre-order, as for special price, valid til 31st Jan 2008 only,
If you purchasing form BULK / GARAGE please ask topic owner for more info, TQ

HR03GT will only arrive on 31st Jan? And the price is a bomb~! Oh, and how do we pre-order? From you blackshirt?

Added on December 27, 2007, 2:53 amOh man, my IFX-14 that I bought a few weeks ago...just got back my motherboard and tried fitting it...it just won't~! My CM Praetorian is too shallow and there's a sliding panel that obstruct the back panel...sigh...
*
Arrive mid of Jan, the promotion ends 31st Jan, later back to normal price RM239, please check in BULK / LYP

Due to your CM casing is smaller compare to normal mid tower (Notice the mobo tray is around 1cm inside from the side panel)

If you go in to some normal one should be fine smile.gif

Thermalright HR-03GT shipped local Stores / Bulkers

Promotions Ends 31st Jan 2008

QUOTE
The HR-03 series started in the beginning of 2007 and was beloved by many computer hardware enthusiasts. It doesn't matter if it's the HR-03 PLUS or the HR-03/R600, they were all able to bring out the best in your high end video card with unprecedented overclocking results by providing maximum cooling protection.

New video cards are constantly on the horizon. The most noticeable ones are the Nvidia G92 and the ATI RV670. Thermalright, of course, is right there again to welcome the new change of guard for extreme cooling and low noise. The new solution is HR-03 GT! HR-03 GT using 6 heatpipes and a double sided heatsink base, can work with any 92mm low noise fan. So if you are not prepared for the onslaught of heat and noise stock coolers generate, get the new HR-03 GT!
