What do you mean they do not threaten the Vietnamese or Pinoys? Theyve been sinking boats, even coast guard vessels from both countries. They can put a coast guard vessel in msian waters and you can do squat.

They are Msias largest investor now. Many of the engineering companies doing large scale projects are chinese. Msias economy will be in trouble if they leave. They can also stop the flow of Sinovac 2 you.

Laughable that you can put China and Msia in the same basket. Ones a world power. The other ones struggling to be relevant on the world stage.

As far as I know they force us to take sinovac even when we like Sinki don't want it. Their engineering companies are shit, expensive, don't listen to main contractors, accident prone & heck lots expensive then our own engineering companies, ECRL are shithole, double the cost of KTM EDTP for half the track.

Their coast guard are in our water, not like we can chase them out as under international law they are allowed to be there, but unlike in Pinoy & Vietnam which they bullied around, they can't do shit to us, we dig for gas and they stood there watching , staying still can't do shit about it and run away whenever angmoh ship comes around.

We impose ADIZ on them and again, they can't do shit except complain that we are two face country.

China are a world power thanks to their population, so unless you are obsessed with the supremacy of their skin color, to me they are the same shit with India & indonesia.

Laughable that you think Having large population give them free ride to go from middle income traps to high income without a substantial domestic reforms which would fuck the CCP grabs on power as it has fuck the KMT & BN. Or do modern day neo colonialism which is being blocked by the west. They are stuck between a rock & hard place unable to move nor with their population already in decline this year has much time to spears.

If you compared them to us, yeah, they are more fucked up. We pretty much had choices liberal economic policy, pretty much had choose multiparty democracy, pretty much had choose to stick to current international law & orders, not to mention we ain't going to have a decline in population at least by 2050, even then, unlike them we ain't racist like them & disallowed new pendatang.

Saying china is a world power is laughable, most of their navy ships are coastal defense ship, their land army are lightly arms and immobile if anything they are just a different color skin army as ID army that you look down on.

Six dead in Philippines Blackhawk crash

user posted image

QUOTE
A Blackhawk helicopter has crashed in the Philippines during night training and all six people on board are suspected to have died, police and the air force say.

A search was prompted when the S70i helicopter was late in reporting back to the air base on Thursday in Capas town in Tarlac province, 92 kilometres north of Manila, the air force said.

"So far, no survivors have been found," said air force spokesman Maynard Mariano.

Police said three officers and three enlisted personnel were reportedly on board the chopper when it crashed.

"Investigators are on the way to the crash site with air force personnel," a police source said.

Mariano said the night proficiency training was being done prior to the full deployment of the Blackhawk to its mission.

No other air force Blackhawks will be flown until an investigation is concluded, he said.

This proposed sale will support the foreign policy and national security of the United States by helping to improve the security of a strategic partner that continues to be an important force for political stability, peace, and economic progress in South East Asia.

The proposed sale will improve the Philippines’ capability to meet current and future threats by enabling the Philippines to deploy fighter aircraft with precision munitions in support of counterterrorism operations in the southern Philippines, increasing effectiveness and minimizing collateral damage. The Philippines is committed to modernizing its military forces and will have no difficulty absorbing this aircraft and services into its armed forces.

The proposed sale of this equipment and support will not alter the basic military balance in the region.

The principal contractor will be Lockheed-Martin, Greenville, SC. There are no known offset agreements proposed in connection with this potential sale.

Implementation of this proposed sale will require the assignment of U.S. Government and contractor representatives (fewer than 20) to the Philippines to provide technical support for maintenance operations and to conduct flight and maintenance training.

There will be no adverse impact on U.S. defense readiness as a result of this proposed sale.

This notice of a potential sale is required by law. The description and dollar value is for the highest estimated quantity and dollar value based on initial requirements. Actual dollar value will be lower depending on final requirements, budget authority, and signed sales agreement(s), if and when concluded.

price looks inclusive of hefty training and support package. relatively few air-to-air munitions, even so.

as I said on other threads: even single-engine modern combat aircraft is expensive

QUOTE
SHAH ALAM: Fennec emergency landing. An Airbus AS 555 SN Fennec light twin engine helicopter from Squadron 502 of th RMN air wing made an emergency landing during a routine flight at the Lumut naval base today (June 28, 2021).

A release from the RMN base stated that the crew of the helicopter – which was on a routine operational mission – survived the 12 noon mishap. They were sent to the Armed Forces hospital in the base for further observation. It also said an inquiry board has been set up to investigate the mishap, the first major one involving the six Fennecs since they were put in service in 2004.

The six Fennecs operated by the 502 Squadron with roles ranging from training, transport surveillance, medical evacuation, search and rescue, fire support and special operations missions.

KUALA LUMPUR: The surging rise of advanced technologies has unlocked new modes of interactivity and immersivity for Serba Dinamik Holdings Bhd through X-Reality (XR) technology.

XR is the combination of augmented reality (AR), virtual reality (VR) and mixed reality (MR) technology.

Serba Dinamik said the company was quick to incorporate internet technology (IT) as part of its core business and expertise since the arrival of Industrial Revolution 4.0 (IR4.0) where engineering services have become more frequently intertwined with IT solutions.
