If got strangers come , they bark non-stop 1 .. untill the person touch them ... then oni will calm down 1..

coz i blif these things have to be diciplined since young de...so i don get soft in these aspects as i would want mikey to be the best he can be...

I bought a smack flies thingy, so far only killed 2 flies, the rest of the time, use to smack my doggy butt.

nowadays they like go down my hall sleep ...coz they c mood 1 ..sumtimes sleep my parents bed ..sumtimes mine ...recently like go hall ..since they all midnite ghost ..never sleep 1... den go down c got sound den bark ..aiKzz.. xpeciali max.. belle still okie 1.. oni wen belle feels is fishy oni bark 1..while max bark many time ... so hav to go down my hall to keep them in control ... nowadays keep sleep in d hall ... once bark ... i'll get up n scold him ... my neighbour like to back at midnite ..make max bark oni ..aiKzz...

Hey, they're just guarding the house, alerting you of the strangers - isnt that a good thing? Casper barks at the electrician and aircond service ppl too! So ganas when ppl come, he bark like mad. People put hand down, he lick... ok, friend liao, can pass. Bugger, useless betul as watch dog.

If you already trying to stop your doggy from barking but he retaliate and bark somemore, this is attitude problem already. You should smack his backside. I teach you one way is to pinch the doggy backside skin and his head will turn around. This is what I do every time he barks or bite on something dont let go, just curi curi pinch his butt. Pinch and smack = pain to skin but no harm to body structure like bone or heavy impact that may cause injuries.

Some dogs indeed discriminate, my gf's Jap Spitz dont like indian - dunno why... I think because the Jap Spitz is white? Not sure but yes, there are discrimination even among dogs.

Yeaa... rotan is good for disciplining I feel. In a way, it whips down and kena the doggy, the skin will pain. Only skin pain is ok I feel some times especially when our doggy get out of control. I agree with your teaching methods.

Hahahaha... I know what its like. Just like when I started to live with Casper. Come home in the middle of the night, Casper barks like mad. Tell him quiet, dont understand. Take grocery down, he bark, close door he bark. Aiyorrrr... puke blood and sometimes its quite bothersome to our neighbours - so smack his backside!!

Has anyone heard or seen a Poolky before? Hahah... 1 is selling at garage sales. I find the price high a bit.... being a crossbreed... also, this could lead to more people wanting to crossbreed to make money and to create a so called "new breed"..... then later one day end up homeless..... when people start mass producing "hybrids" then there will be one time the streets will have more homeless dogs, not only mongrels but more mixbreeds.

Lolx... last week give Casper a shower, clean ears, brush teeth, cut nail and then groom also... I bought this electric shaver from Home Fix, 1U as recommended by Syrian and Digitral. Since its my first time use, dunno how to estimate... bzzzttttt one time, got some parts botak already! Hahahahaa... so cannot post pict, later he bite me!! Not exactly botak but close.

lol....i don dare to use those shavers and stuff la so i rather go basic grooming better ler...i scare later poke him or i cut wrongly or not balanced or something la...too risky...

Dont worry la, cut wrong the fur also can grow. Save some money to provide him better and healthier food ma... Dog fur grow damn fast la... one or two months only, wah liao eh, all over liao.

By the way, most shaver will not 'hurt' or cut the dog until bleed unless you purposely PUSH the shaver down and PRESS it against the skin. If you just zap past the fur, touch the skin oso wont kena so there's no such thing as poke him unless you purposely do it.

Later, I pro with the electric shaver liao, I will start a grooming service... kaakakaka... I'm pretty good with scissors when it comes to grooming, acceptable la. When shaver, first time, got one lubang la near the butt. I cut a lot of the butt area to ensure that his poo dont get stuck on the fur there.

Also, now Casper look like... got stripe due to the shaver. His fur stripe from head to tail, veli funny but cannot see with camera. If you see with eyes, more obvious - with camera, cannot really see the shades of fur. I might try to shave his name on his body next time... Hahahahaha... gila liao!
