ooo...at first just go set the vcore to 1.45V and vdimm 2.85v aaa?? i thought only raise that when oc got problem ... hehe ... if like that ... i'll go set that first la ... hehehe
@sang_karim, before u do any damange to your system by pumping more juice to CPU and ram, let just start to do the basic of the good old P4 OC trick.the steps,
all related voltages set to default. ram timing to default too.
set fsb:ram ratio to 5:4 so that to eliminate ram as bottleneck yr OC.
started to up the fsb from 200, 205 , 210, 215, 220....... until the system become unstable.
when the system become unstable, then it's time for u to up the Vcore. slowly up the vcore with tiny increment, eg 0.05v
and keep upping the fsb till u hit the CPU wall. now u get the max OC of just the CPU.
next,
find your ram max OC. set vdimm voltage to 2.8V, timing to 3-4-4-8 (anyway, what chipset was inside your KVR???)
make sure to set the fsb:dram ratio to 1:1 (as yr P4 don't have unlock multiplier to select am i right).
start to up the fsb and u'll then get the max OC of your ram.
next, combine your OC of ram and CPU (best is to record your OC experience to a list for ez compare)
so u no need to worried about which voltage to choose for your OC.
* as for this OC experience, make sure u have a proper cooling of your CPU,ram, northbridge chipset as this the 3 main heat component. make them cool under load.
by following steps, u won't get lost that ez........happy OC-ing.
