p4p800 dlx limiting you?? if really want to say which components limits you, i think most probably is the ram. 4 slots full normally wont oc better than 2 sticks. and your rams are mix chipset as well. 3.6GHz is quite sweet already. wink.gif

Thx ray for the registration! laugh.gif Haha.. Hm.. Was thinking about it. Currently had pump my vcore til 1.45v already. Dont dare too add much due Prescott produce alot of heat. Now running at 3.6 full load almost reach 50'c in hot day. Scare.. sweat.gif

Haha.. Well.. Just thought of this after read the article tat ray posted in 2nd post! xD Mobo might be a factor as well. Yup.. I know that. Was thinking of changing my ram and add in a ddr booster in. drool.gif Lucky my 4 stick ram are all single sided. If double sided, i dont i could reach 3.6Ghz.

If double sided, i dont i could reach 3.6Ghz.

notworthy.gif fylon, u really hardcore, ddr booster some more... notworthy.gif
btw, i upped my AGP voltage to 1.60v, really stabilizes my system. Orthos previously intermittently can run Orthos for 8hours no issue, the next day beeped after 2 hours. Now after upping the agp voltage, rock solid liao. thumbup.gif

Their post there seems like saying that the Asus Probe max speed can be ignored. biggrin.gif I think maybe that's the recommended max speed to be put on the mobo. I suspect is due to their NB with passive cooling and with be extreme hot when FSB is too high.

Lol.. Kinda satisfy already. Just thought on push more ma. See how much juice can my procs been squeezed! Since is D0 stepping, produce lesser heat (thats what i read from from review), then try lo. Aim higher.. Plan of reaching 3.8Ghz. flex.gif Heh.. Yea! 3.6Ghz kinda enough for recent game liao. Im playing Dawn of War with this speed and pair with my 98's GC, no lag at all. biggrin.gif

Haha.. No la! Where got hardcore. Just to stabilized the ram voltage ma. By then its rare item. I saw 1 on garage sales! drool.gif Yup.. up vAGP will help on stabilizing the system. That what i did before. But dont up too much lo. Later GC got doomed. whistling.gif

Play games at 3.8GHz... drool.gif Very syok man.But i think that maybe one of your RAM is limitting you, else proprtly the proc almost max up but not so possible. brows.gif Maybe try to use the loose timing on it ?

Duh... Already put the loosen one that my ram and mobo. in order to get 3.6 eh. sweat.gif Now is 3-4-4-8. loosen then the ram itself timing. Haha! Play game with 3.6 is very syok already. The gaming loading is FAST! laugh.gif

I guess my procs still can be push more. Since sHawTY can hit 4G with the same procs as mine. I guess mine atleast can hit 3.8 on air! Probably is the ram which limiting the OC wall atm. 4x 256 with single sided ram. One of the chip failed reach the speed already cause the system unstable lo.. shakehead.gif
