Ops.. What happened to ur rigs sang.. After changed the PSU u seems like having some problems! sweat.gif Maybe during the time u disassemble the PSU and accidentally loosen some pc parts? Hm... Is pity u can run dual channel atm. doh.gif

By then guys, got a question here. As if in this case, i have 1.5G of ram. Which means, 2x 512mb and 2x256mb. Can i activate the dual channel function? Lets sey, Slot 2&4 for 512mb and 1&3 for the 256mb. Is that possible?

might be something wrong with ur ram stick too.
Have you check the rams stick if it is workable on other PC or other slow?
or try slot 2 and slot 4

you can try plugging it...
then use CPUZ to check if the memory is running under dual mode.

Theorically, it is possible. but would be depending on other factors such as mobo limitations. Read more @ http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dual-channel_architecture

i suggest you don't oc for now. reset your cmos and use stock for few days first to see if it is stable or not.

i'm reducing the fsb to 214Mhz and seems ok ... before upping the vcore n vdimm oredi priming at 214FSB for 1 1/2 hours and no prob ... when past 214FSB it's keep restarting ... is it the vcore n vdimm not enough juice?

Lol.. Want to OC.. Atleast set u vcore til 1.45v then slowly raise ur fsb. If can, set ur vidimm to 2.85v for safety. So ram need high voltage then can operate at high speed properly.

IMO.. Its depend either do u have the budget to migrate. If got, do make a move a learn something new over there. smile.gif

@sang_karim

Hm.. Before do that, i mean up vdimm and vocore do make sure ur cooling system can function well. Always rmb, more voltage more heat produced. laugh.gif As for me, i will always make sure the system will get enough juice before pushing it. Thats why i always up my vcore and vdimm at certain level before start the OC job.

Or u may try up the fsb slowly either is 1 or 2mhz step by step until the system become unstable then start do tweaking on ur bios such like up vdimm, vcore, change the ram timing and so fort. But that will cost u alot of time thou. rolleyes.gif

oredi set the vcore to 2.45V and vdimm 2.85V at bios ... at cpuz vcore reading is 1.5V rclxub.gif ... set the fsb rite now at 218MHz ... it restart after can boot windows ... now giving 2nd chance ... sweat.gif

**system restart again ... reduce the fsb at 217MHz .. i geuss my system is not gud enough for oc la ... wink.gif ... u guys set the dram frequency at 400MHz or auto in bios? when i set to auto it's give me 3:2 divider ... wink.gif
