Our old school P4 is sensitive to the RAM,very few high performance RAM suits us and the high performance needs higher voltage too.

So far, able to run at 255FSB 1:1, with timings of 2.5-4-3-7.

After 250FSB, the processor suddenly needs a lot of voltage, don't know why sad.gif
*
Maybe is going to reach 3.8GHz need more voltage to support.

QUOTE(fylon @ Sep 10 2007, 11:11 PM)
Lol.. But can get 300mhz extra is a bonus already. Dont too sad thou.. laugh.gif Cheer up.. By the way, i guess i had found the sweet spot for my rigs. 3.67Ghz is the most stable speed i can go. Of cause i can go higher with change the ram ratio but i still prefer stick with 1:1.. So 3.67Ghz is the best point to stick with. Since my mobo cant give more then 2.85v vdimm guess is no point to get performance ram and push higher. So i let mine stick with this speed. tongue.gif
*
Yes the best is to stick with value RAM,hehe 3.67GHz is very sufficient already. biggrin.gif

I think differ about 100MHz like that not really noticable on the performance.I think the FPS maybe just slightly better than your only.

Crazily fast!
This is my first time feeling the pleasure of turning all the video features, setting resolution to 1024 x 768 and the game is still running well above 40 FPS in NFS carbon.
This is the first time in my life using a mainstream video card. haha
Really thrilled.

Wao so shock, your proc is running on stock?Push a llitle bit higher to 3.2GHz...I think you will get more FPS in Carbon. brows.gif My Carbon only get 30FPS with my GC and proc o/c.

The score is not that high.
3dmark 03 was just 11000+ with default settings.
my office laptop with x700 already can reach 5300+
the important factor is still able to have a good experience in games.
*
Yeah i agree. But if you can push your proc higher sure you will be having better expereince one. rclxms.gif

Oh i see that means the decoder can utilize the HyperThreading. The decoder which utilize 2 threads seems like no better than the one using 1 thread only.Which one will giving better video play back?
