Our old school P4 is sensitive to the RAM,very few high performance RAM suits us and the high performance needs higher voltage too.

QUOTE(colinwong89 @ Sep 10 2007, 10:28 PM) So far, able to run at 255FSB 1:1, with timings of 2.5-4-3-7. Maybe is going to reach 3.8GHz need more voltage to support. After 250FSB, the processor suddenly needs a lot of voltage, don't know why QUOTE(fylon @ Sep 10 2007, 11:11 PM) Lol.. But can get 300mhz extra is a bonus already. Dont too sad thou.. Yes the best is to stick with value RAM,hehe 3.67GHz is very sufficient already. |

QUOTE(choongkeat @ Sep 12 2007, 10:41 AM) Crazily fast! Wao so shock, your proc is running on stock?Push a llitle bit higher to 3.2GHz...I think you will get more FPS in Carbon. This is my first time feeling the pleasure of turning all the video features, setting resolution to 1024 x 768 and the game is still running well above 40 FPS in NFS carbon. This is the first time in my life using a mainstream video card. haha Really thrilled. |

QUOTE(choongkeat @ Sep 12 2007, 05:05 PM) The score is not that high. Yeah i agree. But if you can push your proc higher sure you will be having better expereince one. 3dmark 03 was just 11000+ with default settings. my office laptop with x700 already can reach 5300+ the important factor is still able to have a good experience in games. |

I think non of us now are on the speed, but still ok if only some scenes drop to 18fps.THose CPU utilised 98-100% CPU usage are using 2 threads?Example the Media Player Classic?

Oh i see that means the decoder can utilize the HyperThreading. The decoder which utilize 2 threads seems like no better than the one using 1 thread only.Which one will giving better video play back?
