i think i know why already. maybe your cpu limiting you. Still using 2.4B? any oc?if you got the same cpu as miine i think you can score like mine or better.

Lol... Guess what? I just got my ZALMAN FATAL1TY FS-V7 on hand! COD with SpikeTwo just now at Saberkas! The fan really shine as he told me is was new. it was! Tonight gota apply into my 98's and mod to XT. Will post some screenie tonight.

By then, i tried last night. With up my vcore til 1.5v and prime at 3.8Gh.. Guess what? I could go at that speed. haha! My cooler was down, then i tied 2 zalman 92mm fan on it with zipties. For temporary use thou. It works.. Mange to hit 49'c on full load with 2hrs prime.

Lol.. RM100 for the 70% new Zalman Cooler. Only the screws, ram cooler and other accessories is used. The cooling fan itself is new from RMA. Kinda worth for me lo..

Yea.. Found that my system was in control when vcore is high. As my ram run on 2.85v, vAGP only 1.6. 0.5 higher then normal. The rest is default. Set my ram bus length to 4way instead of 8way. Timing is 2.5-4-4-6.

imho the 7300GT is better.newer tech and less heat too

thats nice.a cheap way to cool down your proc instead of buying a good HSF now with your lapped NB heatsink and powerful rams,should be able to hit 3.8Ghz too or higher

Just plug the zalman in! Temp drop around 12'c eh.. Thats alot for me. Now running on stock, the GPU iself is 46'c and ram is 44'c. Wow.. Before that it was 58'c plus on idle!

Everyone seems stat lapping NB huh? So do me.. Just place the extra 2 ram sink on my NB. Hehe.. Small lapping but mange to drop 3'c temp during 3.6Ghz! Procs only 40'c and NB 39'c!

I guess my card got alot of head room to go. Thou.. See my latest result. 8.1k. Seems like the card core & memory can hit very high speed with hynix 2.8ns chip without artifact.

Core: 460mhz
Memory: 780mhz
Temp: 42'c (Well do in at early morning, so temp sure drop abit. )

Now i got problem, My 3dmark03 score using this P4P800 2G ram are low... not even touch 10K.

but when i use Asrock the score can go to 12K++ 1G ram only

so complicated la this p4p800.

Haha.. That 8k score is with 98PRO original bios without modding. Guess will get better score if modded into XT bios. By then, this card really can go very high on core and memory. Alot of headroom for hynix chip. Push the core speed from 380mhz til 450mhz still no artifact found. So as for the ram, from 680mhz til 750mhz. Still running fine artifactless. Damn happy with the result.

Yea.. Finally manage to drop my NB temp. Without ram sink is around 42'c lidat. Kinda scare with do priming. But now it drop til 39'c consider ok liao..

Bro, u using p4p800 or p4p800 deluxe? Haha.. Thats weird.. Play around with ur ram setting? And try push ur proc higher. That helps getting better score thou.

By then i think my NB temp drop is due to the zalman fan. The fan comes with power air flow thou. The air blown on the NB thats why temp will drop.

Haha.. Dare not to say will archived the speed that u mention. But can try to make it thou. Run on 450/750 before, and it was artifact less for the card, so i assume it can hit that speed.

Well anyways, guys my new result..

Hit 3.75Ghz @ 3-4-4-8 timing. Gota lower then the timing to get this stable speed. Tried with 2.5-4-4-6 but unfortunately my system become not stable. Suddenly will restart.

I'm on p4 2.4b at 2.65Ghz with 1 512mb kingston ddr333 and 1 512mb apacer ddr333 on 2.5-3-3-7 timing. My prime95 ran 8 hours with 1 error on the blend type of the torture test. Just wondering is my system stable or not.

I think 3-4-4-8 is the best you can set if wanna achieve higher speed. Maybe you can try change it to 2.5-4-4-8 juz for testing since dropping from 3 to 2.5 would juz give a minimal difference.

Last time Hynix D43 also got for high performance....but for high performance, ppl rather go for BH-5/UTT chipsets instead

D43 is more on the value rams.....well it depends on luck also ler, some of the Intel users can overclock higher with TCCD rams >.>" 270Mhz++ if I am not mistaken

Decided to give my BH5s one last try before I place it back into the storeroom.

After 5 hours of continuous searching in forums, I read that problems for certain boards not being able to boot with BH5s is because of the low default voltage that it starts with. So the solution was to 'jumpstart' the RAM, by taking a cheap stick, setting a higher voltage then swapping it back.

So far, able to do 250MHz 2-2-2-6 with a few problems, which the causes might probably be the heat generation, RAM slot order or wrong placement. My board won't boot up at 2-2-2-5 no matter what

how about loosne a bit the timing like 2-3-3-6 etc? also the same?
need extra cooling then, but normally BH5 come with ramsink. maybe just add the fan blowing the ram will do. but only afew mobo come with 3.3v vdimm.
