most important thing is that how much you willing to pay and get a psu that suitable. good choice if you want to get 500w true power psu. should be enough for a few more years. if run heavy sli in newer rig then i think it may not efficient.

Yea.. As what u had says previously ma. Hurt now but relax after that. By then, read many review already, currently not much mobo and GC can really utilized the SLi power. So no point to going for 2 card by now. Maybe few years after then..

P/s: By then, havent check the price for CM Real Power Pro products yet. Update 2mrw after i asked.

finally no need to format but oredi install windows again .. last nite when try to repair windows and can't boot at all, i've oredi install windows 5 times at my harddisk ... lost my old setting and need to install all the needed software again .. ... after all this setel can try torturing my rig with da new psu ..

really weird, maybe take out 1 stick of ram try 1st. have you missing plug in certain cable?? like the 4 pin adapter to mobo. i ever forgot to plug in that, pc gila gila. haha....

or if still like that try plug in the old psu try it out to check the new psu ok not lo. maybe its faulty 1, just my 2 cents.

it's oredi can boot windows bro .. but have to install eveything back ... when it can boot yesterday i tried to install windows few times but still can boot to windows .... last nite after reattach all the cables it can boot with 5 windows xp installed .. so i remove the other 4 windows xp and boot normally and install everything back like antivirus, mc office, allzip and other la ... still haven't finish install the remaining application ... after everything ok .. can play2 with the rig ... oc .. oc .. oc ..

can get any higher than before?? glad that it come alive again. hehe.....break the wall~~~

Lol.. 3.0E with stock voltage should me can reach 3.4Ghz if im not mistaken. Try up ur vidimm 1st.

By then guys, cannot get the CM Real power and real power pro at kch!! Stock havent arrived so cannot assume the price. So bad.. Guess gona stick to the problematic TECOM until next week.

Has anyone tried the latest Modbin that can unhide certain options in the BIOS? The Abit AI7 BIOS, well known among Modbin users because Abit didn't want overclockers tampering it, is finally openable with the latest version of Modbin, version 2.01.02.

It's tough to find it, but you guys can try getting it from those China overclocker sites... I'll post it up if you guys want it, hope it can unlock extra voltage options in your BIOS

So far for my board, I've managed to unlock Thermal Monitoring, DRAM timings of 0 and Auto, and better control for thermal throttling. Sadly what I unhid were not any more options to boost overclocking. There were many empty options that Abit might have wanted to fill up, but sadly they didn't.

no....his 1 is far better than mine, his 1 is vanila second edition. mine is low budget type. should be alot better than mine.

dont worry, just slow slow rise the fsb. it shouldnt be that hard. if encounter any problem, feel free to post it here. alot of sifu is here willing to guide you (i am out from the list )

yeah..yeah....i can still remember how u tought me how to do the fsb overclock .... that is the first method to use for the begginer like me ...

oioi..... dont simply say la. me just play play and not hardcore 1. lack of parts o play around like good psu, cpu & mobo. if not then i can learn more than what i know today.

if kabukiawie and i were hardcore, we would have long migrated updated platforms, . Look at us now, still toying with s478. We have missed so much generations. PentiumD, CoreDuo, Core2Duo, s754, s939, AM2, etc.

I still remember kabukiawie & my favourite oc rigs during the old days, Socket A Durons and Athlons. Then we move on to s478, and survived til today. We r budget users, poor man's rigs....
