Lol.. Discussion ma.. Comparing which is better lo now.. Hm.. I knew that E2160 is a o/c gem thou. Haha.. Ppl was calling it as a beast! Can hit almost 100% o/c.. And the performance not lost to E6600 if im not mistaken. Just lacking of the cache memory and FSB are rated at 800mhz only. Otherwise, overall is a good proc.

Lol.. Just away for a while then the thread is getting loaded.
@khai84siong Hm.. From what i read from the article.. Most of the ppl says that D0 stepping procs are much more cooler then the previous C0. Due the pipelining of the procs has been improved so will produce lesser hit. As for mine, i was running on D0 stepping. Guess what? My idle temp on stock speed is below 36'c with Hyper6+.. By then, might wan to sell mine rigs if i strike TOTO or 4D Magnum la! No $$ for changing. @kabukiawie Actually is havent enough with the old rigs yet. Guess we all are trying the break the wall as chriswoo says. Heh! |

Aikz.. Pity! Hahah.. Seems like really ya mobo limiting u to hit high speed! Haiz.. Even with the most loosen timing on ur ram and running on 5:4? Sad news! Sell off ya rigs and go for E2160!!
Haiz.. Bored with no o/c life.. Cant do much thing beside surfing and watch movie thou. With 3.75Gh last time only manage to keep 30fps+- for C&C3, now with stock guess will get lower than that. NO GAMING!! |

@kabukiawie
Lol.. But anyhow, now want to o/c also cannot. Haha.. Using Tecom UPS now. No deal for any o/c related issues! @shinjite Yea. That stepping was made for P4 EE if im not mistaken. From what i read from the some website. There says that those P4 with M0 stepping was actually P4 EE but the procs failed certain test and thus they disable the L3 cache and sell it as normal P4 chip to cover the losses. But is true or not.. |

Edit: Some advises are needed before i make a jump for HDD. Our S478 mobo can detect maximum how large of HDD capacity? I was browse through the forum and found some tempting 320GB hdd but was worried could my mobo detect it or not. This post has been edited by fylon: Sep 19 2007, 09:53 PM |
