@pengster
Yo! Nice to heard that ur system can run stable with 2.7G! Atleast dont have BSOD.. Not bad! @overclockalbert Yea. Last night just try to reach that speed havent do any tweaking yet. Just loosen the timing to default.. Will try to tweak the system again when im free. Dont plan to get active cooling for ram as i would gonna rise the vdimm above 2.75v! Gonna save the active cooling $$ for something better. Maybe high CFM 12cm fan! @herojack41 The Hyper6+ is smaller then BT.. Hm.. But u gotta have a good casing in order to use it. @kabukiawie Haha.. Nop! 4GH will the limit.. The temperature is kinda scary on 4Ghz. Dont plan to put my rigs on risk! @edministrator Haha.. Thats the step on with 4GH. Yet tweak the system to max and make it stabilized. Just raw result atm! @Ray Thank you! |

@sang_karim
Actually u can break 4GHz easily with ur stuff. U have almost the same rank item as me. Same mobo, on par ram & cooler, proc almost the same as mine also. Actually the higher speed the lower chance to OC. Like mine, i think i almost hit the wall already. Added on November 15, 2007, 11:23 am@Sang Haha.. I believe ur 3.0E can do better then mine! Go go!! @Ray Wanna join this hardcore OC? This post has been edited by fylon: Nov 15 2007, 11:23 AM |

@Ray
Haha.. As previously i was using CL2.5 that why the PI score are slight faster. As breaking 4Gh barrier, i gotta change back to CL3. So, the result only faster by 1.+s.. If can tweak the ram timing again i believe the score will be slightly better abit. Hm.. Ray u continue be the boss la! Better! @Kabu Yup. Current fan cannot satisfy me yet. Due only running 1.3k rpm.. The CFM also kinda low due is just a normal fan. Unable to keep my monster below 40'c @ 3.6Ghz.. |

If u just wanna do 10% oc.. P4P800-X will be the suitable board for u. Otherwise, if u wanna break 4GH.. Then u need to get leosia board!

@albert
Hm.. Full load during SP2004 hit around 48-51'c maximum. Well.. I was using 2 90mm to draw the heat out from the casing and 2 80mm to pull the air in. About the fan, im still looking for it. Maybe TT the 80cfm will do already. Since my room kinda small, if pump on a 100cfm fan i cant sleep during torrenting. |

@Ray
Haha.. Gotta see got any volunteer wanna be the boss or not. Otherwise, maybe u continue be the boss! 9 more post to get V5.. V5 will born today! By then, ur owning a legend mobo, no doubt can push ya proc go higher. C&C 3? Yea.. But if set to ultra high my GC will still lag the game. Im currently using the high setting only. A step lower then ultra high. @blonely Ic.. Where is khai84siong? Dint heard from him for quite sometime. Missing already? @herojack41 U mean for Asus mobo? Yea. There was, but nothing much can expect from that setting. If im not mistaken, if just tighten the North Bridge timing. I set mine to standard a.k.a disable it. Dont really high if u wanna oc to high speed. Timing to tight might cause error. This post has been edited by fylon: Nov 16 2007, 09:47 AM |

Haha.. Time for new thread. V5 is borning..
@herojack41 Anyways, north bridge are always come with heatsink. What mobo are u using? It suppose to have the heat sink. Did u see wrong? North bridge is on top one. South bridge then is located and below. Which is somewhere near to the pci slot on ur mobo. |
