Core: 460mhz
Memory: 780mhz

Nice temperature dropping. You directly paste the RAM sink on your MB using double sided tape?
Oh,another member going to shift to C2D end of the year.
Added your list, welcome to the club.
Nice score man. thumbup.gif
*
Haha.. Nop. Cos my GC comes with RAM sink on it already. So i didnt use the one that comes with the zalman fan. Then i paste the zalman ram sink on my NB lo. the ram sink comes with thermal sticker on it. So no worry! Hah!

Your GC can score 8k+ in 3D mark 03 is considered very high man.My 5900 can't reach that. sweat.gif Between nice to see you add on additional RAM sink on the NB transistor there. My NB place will rise up to 40+ degree celcius when loading.
*
Haha.. That 8k score is with 98PRO original bios without modding. Guess will get better score if modded into XT bios. By then, this card really can go very high on core and memory. Alot of headroom for hynix chip. brows.gif Push the core speed from 380mhz til 450mhz still no artifact found. So as for the ram, from 680mhz til 750mhz. Still running fine artifactless. laugh.gif Damn happy with the result.

Yea.. Finally manage to drop my NB temp. Without ram sink is around 42'c lidat. Kinda scare with do priming. But now it drop til 39'c consider ok liao..

@GCI99

Bro, u using p4p800 or p4p800 deluxe? Haha.. Thats weird.. Play around with ur ram setting? And try push ur proc higher. That helps getting better score thou.

By then guys, Geil and superTalent brand, which one got better OC ability?

Haha.. Yea! I think about that too. Its surprise with i see the result.. By then need to rescue my floppy 1st. Then can mod it.

By then i think my NB temp drop is due to the zalman fan. The fan comes with power air flow thou. The air blown on the NB thats why temp will drop.

Ic.. Bcos my fren wanted to sell his ram ma. Then i ask, which is better. Guess like i have to choose between supertalent and xTeem.

Super Talent and  TeamXtreem are both good in AMD platform overclocking.Seems like you are trying to look for those BH5 RAM is it ?
Geil Golden Dragon...I hardly see the RAM before,is its' performance as good as those SuperTalent and TeamXtreem ?
*
Hm.. Actually i was hunting for some ram. Thats why im asking. Haha.. But i heard my friend says, SuperTalent wasnt use Winbond chip for their products. So, it wasnt comes with BH5 chip. Wander i that true or not.. hmm.gif

P/s: Successfully modded my GC to XT. laugh.gif

@pengster

Haha.. Dare not to say will archived the speed that u mention. But can try to make it thou. Run on 450/750 before, and it was artifact less for the card, so i assume it can hit that speed. laugh.gif

Well anyways, guys my new result.. biggrin.gif

Hit 3.75Ghz @ 3-4-4-8 timing. Gota lower then the timing to get this stable speed. Tried with 2.5-4-4-6 but unfortunately my system become not stable. Suddenly will restart. sweat.gif

maybe try 3-3-3-6 if your ram wont run at c2.5. nice to see that you can proceed higher and higher. hehehe....
*
Haha.. Unfortunately cant.. Tried before. Even run 512kb super PI also will restart. cry.gif But can hit 3.7Ghz guess better already. Actually didnt know that the pro can hit that high speed. biggrin.gif

if thats the case,500/800 should not be problem with the XT bios and Zalman cooler laugh.gif finally you broke the 3.6Ghz barrier too  thumbup.gif can't hit 3.8?
nolah, only when i play with my stuff laugh.gif but now lazy to put it back up.anyway i just added a 40mm fan on my NB.its freaking hot even on idle doh.gif

QUOTE(sHawTY @ Sep 9 2007, 01:57 PM)
Just a lil more to reach my score.
Try harder dude! bruce.gif

Haah.. Break 3.6G but cant get to 3.8G thou.. Tried with 251mhz @ 3-4-4-8 system cannot boot up. Gota reset bios. sweat.gif Vcore set at 1.55v, vdimm at 2.85v,vAGP at 1.6v & pci frequency locked at 33mhz and agp 66mhz. System cannot boot up. Guess the ram is hitting the wall. sweat.gif

Any clue? I had tried all i can.. doh.gif

The last solution maybe you need to use diveder, 3:2 or 5:4 so the system is not to dependent on the ram. smile.gif

I guess with divider you can get higher clocks? hmm.gif
*
Haha.. Looking for vdimm mod! tongue.gif Jk jk! Wont do that.. Too danger.. P4P800 Deluxe is rare board thou. Hm.. I guess the ram had reached it limits. Tried with 3:2 & 5:4 mange to boot the system up but cannot prime. Dont even 1mins prime then goes restart. Guess i better stay a 3.6Ghz lo.. Due i want to have 1:1 ratio and stable system! laugh.gif

Haha.. Nop! Now going back to 3.6Ghz the most stable setting. Due can push my memory timing to 2.5-4-4-6.. And i wanna keep at 1:1 ratio. biggrin.gif

Ic.. Hm.. Ya memory setting too tight? witting something to ROM? sweat.gif

I've updated already. biggrin.gif Bwtween really nice GC you have,1950 pro man how is it perform? drool.gif
That's why most P4 users are usually using the Hynix RAM for the mobos not the high performance RAM. sweat.gif
*
Hm.. Seems like not really a good option to get high performance ram huh? Haha.. Guess i have to changed my mind of getting better ram thou. laugh.gif

Lol.. Now times for ram & chipset discussion? biggrin.gif Yea.. All those good ram needs higher voltage to operate. Too bad for my mobo max vidimm only 2.85v.. Nothing much i can do. No point to get performance ram thou. sad.gif

Lol.. But can get 300mhz extra is a bonus already. Dont too sad thou.. laugh.gif Cheer up.. By the way, i guess i had found the sweet spot for my rigs. 3.67Ghz is the most stable speed i can go. Of cause i can go higher with change the ram ratio but i still prefer stick with 1:1.. So 3.67Ghz is the best point to stick with. Since my mobo cant give more then 2.85v vdimm guess is no point to get performance ram and push higher. So i let mine stick with this speed. tongue.gif

Cannot try the H264 movie. ohmy.gif

QUOTE(pengster @ Sep 12 2007, 09:26 PM)
yeah.for me push 300mhz is very little already.my goal is 3Ghz laugh.gif anyway, all this happens at stock volts for everything.so maybe if i up my vdimm it'll help smile.gif
*
Lol.. Atleast u got 300mhz extra for stock volts ma.. Try pump in some vcore. I guess it should can help u get further. I pump mine until 1.485v eh.. icon_rolleyes.gif

Fylon  i need some help...
until now i cannot use my front audio panel.. u can send picture how you put the cable?? i put it like book say.. but cannot maa... my cable write L in L out R in R out Mic1 GND Mic2 Gnd... rclxub.gif
ahaaaaaaa... got OC to 3.6 with no problem today...

if use 4 ram hard to make for 3.8..

i try use 2 ram only... wahhh go 3.8 just like that...

so syok ohhhh....test 3dmark03 and 05 no error or restart..hahaha
*
Gratz! laugh.gif Ofcause, more ram means higher chance to fail OC. Due more ram chips are been use thus one of the chips failed to operate at the speed that u had set then consider OC failed.

Whats ur idle and full load temp for 3.6Ghz? Make sure u got backup cooling system for ur rigs.. On 3.6Ghz makes lotsa heat out. sweat.gif

By then, i dont use the front audio panel wor.. doh.gif shocking.gif This u might need to ask bro shawty eh..

Hm.. 3dmark usually used for test GC.. Try run stress prime / orthos to burn ur procs to test the real stability of ur rigs. U can get it here thou. As for me, i would stress the RAM and procs together with priority 10..

Thanks for the info! laugh.gif Just try the video.. Running at 3.67Ghz @ 90%+- CPU Usage. FPS is less 25< Average is 23.. For certain scene it drop until 18.. blush.gif

Addon: Dont what media decoder i was using. sweat.gif Well just know when i run the movie, there were a "Haali Media Splitter" icon appear on my task bar. Guess will that be the decoder?
