I remember someone mention before here, the burning smell will naturally go away after 10k mileage. I am well above 10K and still smelling it if I go up to 100KM/h haha. Is this something Perodua can help ? Or I just need to tahan until it is gone?

There's a secondary air intake hole that didn't get a proper seal from Perodua. Some cables or piping goes through this hole as well but obviously there's some tiny gaps. When you press hard to accelerate, the smell comes in. Myvi had the similar hole but is properly sealed tight, hence no smell. Got to know this from Perodua technician. He said as long not many people complain, they ain't fixing this.

Driving quite aggresive from Kota Bharu to Putrajaya. Took 4H30mins including petrol/toilet stop. Quite impresive with ativa performance. Upgrading suspension is a must for more solid driving high speed. It was very early morning with super less trafic. Normal drive took atleast 6H
*
Any recommendations for said suspension?

recently i took apart dashboard and found this big hole. not secondary intake. no wires lah.
it is outside air circulation vent. gasket is made of tall sponge squeezed to air duct facing ac blower.
so p2 workmanship is not perfect, shifted some sponge border out of edge, and sponge is not a total insulation material to begin with

now i lekat the ori sponge. not yet decide to leave the hole open or close.
since enjin noise appears loud from.that hole

Will changing the headunit in X Variant void warranty? Which part of the warranty it voids?

actually why upgrade rim is sensible rather than suspension?

is the stock 17" rim (AV model) not sufficient enough?

below 1k u may buy random brand lowered spring. which is hit or miss lucky draw.
about 1.5k get adjustable. still hit or miss. (usually miss i would say).
more $$ work to do becos trying to adjust many times.

above 2k and so on. get custom tune or genuine jdm part. bigger chance to hit. so satisfied.

in the end of the day, u still having 205 thin tyre on road. how do we call that high speed stable. afterall

bro, it's suitable for 17' 1.0 small turbo charged car. Do you want to equip Ativa with 215/225/235 from factory? gg lor, all those traction/grip and no power.

195 is good for 15' same with 205 good with 16' and not that bad on 17'.

Please remember that this is not a performance-oriented car.
