The GearUp bodykit looks absolutely hideous.
Otherwise the crossover looks rugged and seems value for money.

i want to know, if the adaptive cruise control actually works during traffic jams, ie car in front almost full stop and will the ativa follow and full stop and start back.

With 140nm of low end torque and DCVT plus light weight, I anticipate this to drive better than Aruz and Myvi 1.5.

Cannot beat god's car.
1.0T = approximate 1.5 NA

Avita turbo on start from 2400 rpm and D-CVT optimized for fuel consumption at high speed not like Toyota optimized for acceleration.
So expecting god's car still Myvi 1.5.

At slow traffic, I think you might feel turbo lag and higher fuel consumption than 1.5 NA Myvi. At cruising speed, I bet Avita FC is a winner here.

I beg to differ. doh.gif
At this age of tech, turbo lag is very minimal because the ECU management and the small size of turbo is able to spool up quickly . This is not a drag car with huge ass turbo .

And... at 2400PM, the Myvi 1.5 will develop only 1/2 of its max rated torque, compared to turbos able to already develop max torque at low rpm right up to 4000RPM

For simple calculation - the Myvi's 2NR-VE torque is rated 143NM at 4200RPM
At 2400RPM its only doing 81.7NM. Try matching that with the 1KRVET.

Combine CVT management and turbo - if you were in the seat of your Myvi, be prepared to be smoked by the Activa at green light.

Secondly - as per your comment "D-CVT optimized for fuel consumption at high speed not like Toyota optimized for acceleration."

This is where CVT is optimized for either power or economy runs . Its a CVT for crying out loud. Continous Variable Transmission. This is where CVT reigns, no matter how much you CVT haters say it lags etc.
Your average Myvi 1.5 cant do just that with its 4AT slushbox (lets not dive into "Oh it can drag longer at gears or downshift")

In case you are not convince, lets take this video example. Proton CVT vs Myvi's slushbox.

Watch this video I shared earlier:
https://youtu.be/fVfR6LdJYsU

Or if you are lazy to watch a 5 minute video, skip to minute 2:54

It will show a representative of the RPM.
However bare in mind, this is a CVT. Its not fixed.

Thanks bro, yeap understand that CVT RPM range works a little differently vs conventional box.

the 100km/h cruising speed not bad, 2.3k but quite a big jump to 3.2k for 120km/h.

Important for us as most of us use our cars on highways with typical cruising speed of 100-120km/h.
