This internet plan has pros and cons

Pro: Your monthly internet is cheaper than the existing plans offered
Con: need to renew contract every 24 months to maintain the plan, this includes for other users whose internet plan is written "Prepetual"

Is the Fiberhome modem and router given by Unifi poor in quality? I just installed Unifi yesterday, tried to play FIFA 21 using PS4 but stutter every 3 secs, even more than when i using Streamyx. I wonder what is the cause...but tried speedtest seems ok.

I don't have such luck, I was paying RM129 for the 500Mpbs Turbo Upgrade, from last month, they started charging RM229 claiming that offer expired. As I want to keep the bill to not more than RM150, I asked for downgrade to 300Mbps. In email they offer me RM139.

Then they called up and say no more such plan, now 300Mbps without unifiTV is RM199. Even when I threaten to cancel and migrate to Maxis Fibre also they refused to honour the RM139 which was offered in email. Really shit!

fifa with tm has been broken for 2 days for me. Cannot get into any match.

Bad experience with them. Took them almost 3 months to finally downgrade my package. And that only happens after more than 15 online support tickets filed, numerous calls from their marketing dept asking me to stay on the RM300 package. Later I filed a complaint to SKMM/MCMC, then only they take action to downgrade my package (lower price). In between I had to pay the super high price RM300+ (no promo). Even then, the unifi SC just close the case like that without even bother to rebate me (I did asked for it numerous times!). But they just ignore it completely.

So much so for infra and monopoly.

Wow this is new.. there is someone else in here paying RM129 for 500Mbps (due to mistake by TM cs when removing tv pack)
How did you get that package in the first place?

I wrote in via their contact form in their website, they replied and offered RM139/month with 300Mbps without hyppTV. Also confirmed that with their live chat. But when the marketing ppl called, they refused to honour it.

Just spoke with an agent through their chat channel, the 300mbps RM139 only applicable to those who subscribed to turbo package, nothing to offer to those who is on 100mbps RM129. Time to consider to port in to other telco.

Anyone who is on 100mbps managed to get the RM139 300mpbs package?

I managed to get the rm99 100mbps.

This is a perpetual discount after 24 months contract.

Am i the only who has new troubles with Unify today ? Some websites load very slowly at random times and i can't SSH to some of my servers (that are up).

rebooted the equipment and everything went straight back to normal, websites that timed out don't timeout anymore

edit : still have some weird lags, latency on my SSH, weird lags on Google translate that i never had for months

connection keep getting timed out if you do a ping..

If you in any games even worse.. will disconnect the moment you are in..

I'm wondering is it related to that Dr. Wee reroute politic issue that they want to masuk pocket until delay the fixing of the cable ?

i think need to invest in a vpn, i play destiny, now always contacting server
