QUOTE(miyakochan89 @ Jun 22 2021, 04:57 PM) I am using ErgoPro myself from Evis, bought last year approximately around August - September. I am pretty OCD person myself and I do wipe down the chair a lot. But there's one place that I cannot reach which is HERE (picture below). I checked with Evis, they said they cannot remove the mesh seat or anything. So how am i supposed to clean this area? Because it's mesh seat, and when you start shaking the chair or violently jerk the chair, the dust will start to fall off to the floor. I can only think of using water to wash the entire chair down? Or buy compressed air and blow them out of the are. Any ideas? Wrap a thin piece of wet cloth around a flat stick to wipe similar to a ear cotton bud type. QUOTE(miyakochan89 @ Jun 24 2021, 01:37 PM) can't vacuum with the extra fine tip. I will have to get compressed air lah. For that area can only clean like once every 3 months or so if like that. OK NOPE. Get a blower instead, higher pressure and over the long run cheaper than compressed air can. Not to mention can use to blow dust out of other hard to reach areas too

QUOTE(Areglator @ May 31 2021, 05:56 AM) Hi all - just wanted to chime in. I've had the Steelcase Leap v2 for a couple of months now, and can really say that it was a great buy. For 5 years my chair was an Aeron classic size B, and I didn't think anything would be able to live to up it. » Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « The adjustability of the Leap v2 is great, but takes a little while to dial in the perfect setting - but once you find it, you forget all about the chair, which is exactly what we want. The frameless seat and backrest are extremely comfortable, and the armrest adjustability many times better than my Aeron. In my work I have to adjust the armrests often, so the Steelcase style is great for me. I also like moving my legs around once in a while, so the flexible seat pan and frameless design are a plus. I thought the seatpan cushion looked thin in photos, but in person it's not hard at all, and very dense, so your butt will never hurt. The fabric is good, though I have to admit I always use it in an air-cond room, so I don't know how it responds to sweaty conditions. It came with an add-on headrest, not the same material as the rest of the chair, but ok enough for leaning back. I suppose you could buy a better aftermarket headrest, but it's not a big deal to me. I still love my Aeron because of the nice floaty hammock feel and zero hotspot pressure points on the legs, but this Leap V2 is right up there with it. I'm 180cm and 90kg, but the chair doesn't feel small or weak at all. In fact it's bigger than it looks in photos. I shared the two for RM5.2k promo with someone, so 2.6k is a bargain for a chair of this quality. Casters are first class too. Zenpro distributes Steelcase, and their showroom is in Menara Prima in PJ. For those looking for HM chairs in KL, Trax in Bangsar is the official distributor, but prices are high. If you have the budget for it, go for it, but personally with the way the Steelcase performs, that Leap or Gesture deserve a look regardless of budget. Presented with the choice of two leap v2 chairs for RM5200, or one Aeron remastered for RM7200, it would be an easy decision for me. :-) QUOTE(verynice309 @ Jun 6 2021, 07:26 PM) » Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « Currently sitting on one as well, can confirm everything said above. However, headrest was not that comfortable for me coz I found that it got in the way of my head when sitting normally (for reference I'm about 180+ cm and about 60+ kg). Luckily, I was able to remove it and it felt a lot better (at least for me). The adjustable lumbar which slides up and down was also a bit too much for me so I removed that as well which also made it feel a lot better. I will admit when I first got the chair, I wasn't that impressed but after making the necessary adjustments (removing, adjusting etc) it def felt like a whole diff chair. I will add that if u are like me (no 24/7 aircon + sweat easily) you don't have to worry provided you use a fan and go shirtless at home. My previous chair was a Ikea Markus and I would say the seat foam produces just slightly more heat than the Markus while the back was just moderately hotter than the Markus back (considering the Leap has a foam back while the Markus has a mesh-ish back) so it isnt that bad. I usually go shirtless and put the shirt on my chair so my body doesnt come in contact with the chair/back foam which actually helps in reducing the heat build up a bit. You all sit on the Steelcase Leap without headrest? Thinking of getting a Steelcase, preferably a Leap as I heard good reviews about in on this thread and after googling about it. But heard the headrest is not so good, also not very adjustable. The Steelcase Gesture's headrest it seeems is more adjustable, but the overall chair comfort isnt as good as the Leap. Thoughts, anyone? And also, I need a chair with good headrest. Cant seem to do without a headrest. I guess I have a big head and so its heavy. I have a Ikea Markus, and the headrest kinda sucks This post has been edited by videogames_sports: Jun 26 2021, 01:24 PM

Gave up on chair with footrest as it's hard to find 500-700 ringgit chair with that function. The only one I found is M20 from takeaseat website, but the warranty seems too short.
I guess I am going to buy a cheap foot stool to put my feet up if needed.
Now I am considering 2 options. 1) Merryfair Anggun (RM620) 2) Alterseat DT-330 (RM700)
It looks like for 80 ringgit more, Alterseat seems better in every way, except for the lack of adjustable seat depth.
It has better warranty, higher degree of reclining and use class 4 gaslift. Talked to the sales staff and they seems responsive as well.
Anyone has actual experience with DT-330? Is the chair comfortable for long period of use? My day mostly will be on that chair, except for an hour of going on a walk and sleeping.

I got the Alterseat CG-07 which is also using the "class 4 gaslift", this has very limited height adjustment between 43-48cm, ie 5cm adjustment. Whereas the Merryfair Anggun shows that it can adjust between 44-54cm, ie 10cm adjustment. My height is 165cm, so the Alterseat is just enough for me; if I were any taller I think this chair is not tall enough. YMMV

Btw, I am 162cm, and based on the ergonomic chair calculator, i should set my seat height to be 44cm so it should be okay as well for me.

The cushion is made from very dense foam and no issue sitting on it for long hours (>10hrs a day in my case). Also the cover is quite smooth, depending on the type of pants I'm wearing, might slide forward in the seat after some time. A foot rest or foot stool can help with this issue though
