seeing so less option to buy from malaysia market. I am thinking to import from taobao. Been eyeing on sihoo v1 or sihoo vito but their weight may cost rm200 shipping.
*
I have asked Sihoo customer service about the M57, they said the weight is around 22KG with dimension of 75*34*65cm (equivalent to roughly 27kg)
The shipping cost is around 150 based on my last calculation using third party courier service, and what they told me is, if any parts are broken and are entitle to claim warranty, they will send the replacement parts directly.

u asked from official store? on 618, the v1 only sell rm1.1k and i hesitated to buy it sad.gif

ya, my shipping company cost me around rm200. May I know which third party company u used?
*
Haha, i was hesistating as well. Ya from their official store. You can actually contact them and ask if you can get lower price than what they are having now, they might able to help you out. I used barwaa and boxku. Price are similar and both provide good service. If you use taobao official sea shipping it is even cheaper (but high risk). V1 might be heaver, you can ask them for the dimension and weight of the specific product.

Hi guys, i ended up getting Haworth Aloha Easy at a secondhand furniture shop at 380. Surprisingly good condition and well kept. Got it from Chai trading.

I not sure how well it perform as compare to other chairs as i dont have chance to try any of the recommended chairs here (including ikea markus). So, if anyone looking for one can google them.

How's the chair so far? Can have a quick review? I'm thinking either Haworth or the Steelcase lets B. Both from secondhand shop pricing very cantik 🤣
*
Hmm, for starter, the armrest is not very flexible, you can only move up and down. The seat depth is a bit too short for me, im around 174cm height and weight near 95kg. You definitely cant fold your legs when sit.

The good thing about this chair is it is unexpectedly solid. It is heavy, mostly made from nylon i believe. The gas lift can be lift quite high, and the lumbar support is adjustable. The chair can be tilted and stay solid when i lay on it to the max angle. For 380 i would say much better than ikeas one. I havent had a really long seating period with it yet given that i just got it today, but my butt stays cool for the 30minutes seat time i had. Its meshed, back not sure about the seat cushion though, its quite firm.

Not sure how well steelcase B is, i would suggest you try steelcase first before making it here. The service of chai trading's warehouse (ya, they cant open their store since mco, you will be directed to their warehouse instead) is very lousy, they close my car door when the chair wheels are not in clearance, scratch my car tint badly. So, make sure your car is empty enough and it is your last decision stop before they reopen their store.

Anyone has experience with this chair before?
https://takeaseat.my/ergonomic-chair-malays...r-with-legrest/

Googling around, it seems to be a rebranded version of Sihoo M18. (Some Lazada reviewer even said that they don't even bother to change the box).

For the price, I would like more than a 1 year warranty only, but it seems that this is the only office chair that I find has leg rest below 1k.

Edit: Found 1 detailed review on Sihoo M18(without the footrest).
https://ergonomictrends.com/sihoo-ergonomic...e-chair-review/

Seems like it's a good enough chair with few downside such as mediocre tilt function or headrest easily moving around. But in terms of comfort seems to be good enough for the price.

Personally, I would like to have the chair to be able to tilt more than 120deg, especially when it has legrest to support.

Any idea for alternative? If there is no good choice within the budget, I guess I may consider extending to 1.5k mark if it's really good.

Just a few reply above you mentioned he got a M57 for 600 something. Maybe you can pm him for more details on it? M57 definitely better than M18. Will suggest you hold the trigger until he got his chair and made his review on it.
Else for that price range... I cant really think of any with a leg rest. Maybe buy a separate foot rest?

but just taobao own forwarder also work right?
*
never use taobao own forwarder. They will listerally throw ur stuff unless you are using air shipping. Seriously, none of my shipment with taobao own forwarder came in 100% good condition. They overcharged, damage my item to an extend i need to use dispute every time. I sugest you look for third party if it is still possible.

same as in those shoppe taobao agent?
like we ask them to buy it for us right?

now still in doubt whether should go for m57 or v1 xD
*
Will highly suggest you either find a real good customer service agent or having a close friend who understand mandarin to help you out since it will involve warranty and need of customer service when you encounter problem like lost part or damaged item, or need to claim warranty within the warranty period which Sihoo support told me they will just ship the part you need to replace with (but no guarantee on that, don't hold high hopes ya).

Taobao agents/forwarders usually need you to provide link to them to help you buy stuff and ship it to you. Usually item come in great condition as compare to their official forwarder which you can choose upon payment. Highly not recommend as i have multiple bad experiences and involve in dispute most of the time. For what i know is M57 shipping is around RM150 as long as it is sea freight (74*34* 65cm, 22kg).

Forwarders that i can recommend solely depends on the item condition upon arrival: barwaa, boxku

There is this company that only focuses on ergonomic chairs that I found very nice!
www.drivelife.com.my

They only have one product so I’m assuming they really know what they are doing. It might be quite expensive for some but they recently started to give 10 days trial (free return within 10 days of receiving item) and  instalment plans so i bought it. (Ps instalment only 199 on their shopee/lazada)

They also post articles related to their expertise i.e. ergonomics on their website

Overall, its really worth it. I tried those cheap cheap other brand ergonomic chair twice, but they all ended up disappointing me, this is actually worth the price!
*
Sorry but it just feel that you are the salesman of this company and you are not being honest by saying you actually bought one and recommend to forumers here since this is your first post in a new account. Appreciate if you can be honest here and instead of acting as a buyer, convince people to actually try your chair, tell us how your chair compete with steelcase, evispro or others within that price range. (Ps: sharing ergo related articles doesnt makes you reliable)

He joined today at 10:07am and posted at 10:19am. Either he is trying to be anonymous (dont see a reason why) else he is a salesman who is promoting themselves via forums.

Hi guys, just came across a very in depth review/guide on youtube about ergo chair but in Mandarin. A very good guide for one to understand how ergo chair works and how to pick one.

may i ask where did u get the second hand leap from?

looking for a leap v2, cheapest now i saw is from ELY which is 4.2k~

anyone know where else can get cheaper let me knwo :>
*
Bought it from carousel, around 2.5k. It had been used for 4 years and I'm not sure if it is my imagination but the seat cushion seems thinner than the new one even though they are the same model, leap v2.

Good day guys, any idea which 1 to pick ? the think V2 or series 2. or any other model worth buying around RM3k.

Work usage and will spend like 10 hours on the chair per day.
*
Highly recommend getting think v2 over series 2 as it is wider and more comfortable to sit for longer hours. Also, headrest can be bought in future if you not sure getting one or not. Others steelcase chair do not offer such option and once you bough the non-headrest version, you will stuck with it forever.

QUOTE(marquis @ Aug 21 2022, 08:00 PM)
Anyone with a Steelcase Think V1 or V2?

I just recently got one of each used to try them out, and fount the tilt for the V2 is a lot less rigid than the V1. With the V1, I can push back a bit and have the tilt hold. Exerting the same amount of force on the V2, it would tilt much further back.

Anyone have the same experience?

I’m currently using a Clatina Mellet (essentially a Leap V2 ripoff) and the seat recline behaves similarly to the Think V2.

I’ve read around, and apparently the Think V2’s recline is meant to be easier to engage. Will this experience get better? Coz I plan to sell off one of them
*
Just wondering, have you adjusted the recline tension? If you not sure about it, google "Think V2 Adjustments"

QUOTE(marquis @ Aug 22 2022, 01:37 PM)
Ah. Sorry. Forgot to include it in the original post. Yes I have. I can use the V1 with the last setting (basically no stopper) and it’ll hold its recline when I stop pushing back against it. Very much like the Mellet (so by extension, the leap?).

With the V2, I have to use the first setting if want to sit upright ish, or the second/third ONLY if I want to lean back. Coz it feels like the slightest of recline will push the seat back.

Not sure if it’s a faulty V2, or I’m just so used to pushing back harder. I tend to push my back against the seat to improve my posture (tend to slouch quite a bit)
*
In that case, will suggest you pm steelcase malaysia/ zenpro if think v1 and v2 are any different regarding the recline system (which i think shouldnt be the case), then check if your chair entitle for warranty claim and request for a fix/change. Personally tried think v2 before but didnt pay too much attention about the recline force.

Well according to this link, it's a feature. So I guess I'm just gonna give it a try for a week to see if it's actually any better than the Mellet. Otherwise, just gonna sell it off.

Thanks for the help though! thumbup.gif
