Im using ErgoPro myself, with legrest.
My main concern is like you, don't wanna get stuffy without AC, which works for me thanks to the mesh.
You should go and test it out.

I vaguely remember ErgoNovis is much more comfortable but then the price is also skyhigh, at that price point i rather top up and get Herman Miller. So i went for ErgoPro, with additional leg rest cause I do watch movies from my PC and it's nice to just lounge.

May I ask how long have you been using it?
Does the mesh hold up well?
Thanks

Hello,
I bought a 2nd hand like new Haworth Zody on carousell and looking to sell it. Just got it today and it is basically brand new. No sign of usage even on roller.
It is basic version with Lumbar support, fixed arm rest, seat pan adjustment and tilt lock. No forward tilt.
Selling for RM1000, can pm me for photo or check carousell link where I bought it from.

I am on the journey of looking for suitable chair, bought it today to try and some thought below:
It is very comfortable chair, foam is comfy and soft, back mesh is soft and not firm like aeron.
Back rest feels better than aeron but seat is too warm for me as I dont like to use air conditioning.

I am in PJ if anyone looking to try the chair.
Cheers and stay safe.

just curious why didnt u go for gesture instead of leap v2? and whats the price difference between the both?
*
Two things: price and fit. The price difference was pretty big. Gesture is RM4k and the Leap with promo was RM2.6K. Without the promo, the Leap is RM3.8k so that would have made a tougher choice in terms of price.

At the showroom I tried both chairs. The Leap just felt better for me. I guess the shape just happened to be a good fit. I love the look and seatpan adjustment system (knob type) of the Gesture, but the Leap won on feel and the promo of course.

Does Steelcase has full mesh option instead of the cushioned seat?

Seems like chair price is increasing currently.
Is there a good chair with a leg rest that can recline and lock in place with the budget of around 700?

Reason for above requirement is because I plan to use that chair to sit in front of TV and watching movies/console gaming as well.

I saw many gaming chair with that budget that advertise those function, but I wonder is there an office chair alternative.

You might have some luck with on Lazada, but have to order from China. Cause of the leg rest part. not a lot of chairs offer that.
Gaming chair is really warm i reckon, so unless you are in 24 hours AC room. Mesh would be a better option.

I am using ErgoPro myself from Evis, bought last year approximately around August - September.

I am pretty OCD person myself and I do wipe down the chair a lot. But there's one place that I cannot reach which is HERE (picture below).
I checked with Evis, they said they cannot remove the mesh seat or anything. So how am i supposed to clean this area? doh.gif
Because it's mesh seat, and when you start shaking the chair or violently jerk the chair, the dust will start to fall off to the floor.

I can only think of using water to wash the entire chair down? Or buy compressed air and blow them out of the are.

Any ideas?

seems like can only bring outdoor and blow away using compressed air. Not recommended to spray/ hose down with water because we never know which part's exposed and could cause corrosion

Fancy voiding warranty? icon_idea.gif
U can disassemble the chair and clean the particular part most likely it doesn’t involve anything with the gas cylinder, hence making it simple as removing a couple of screws, etc.

For example I cleaned my seat fabric the other day, all it take is just 4 Torx T40 screws, then the others are pretty straight forward

I will have to get compressed air lah. For that area can only clean like once every 3 months or so if like that.
