I've been using DT-330 since April until now. Bought it after reading bunch of positive reviews and high recommendations from people around me.
However up until today, I'm still couldn't find the comfortable spot with this chair.
Few problems I have with this chair:
1. Backrest adjustment - The first position is way too upright, and the second position is way far down. It only locks at predefined angle
2. Lumbar support - The cushion is very thin, almost non-existence, and the bottom of the lumbar support wasn't cushion at all. My spine hurts after long hour pressing against the hard lumbar support.
Maybe due to the problem of #1, this affects the #2, or the other way round. I just couldn't find a sweet spot from this chair.
3. Arm rest - It could be better if the arm rest could be pushed further back. There are times where I want to sit closer to the table, but the arm rest is in the way. I have to lower it down all the way, and with that I will lose the arm support. Might not be a problem for other people, since my arm are shorter than the others.
4. Headrest - This is a common problem for most of the working chairs, which is loose headrest. I don't expect anything much from this though.

The good side about this chair is the quality. The entire chair is solid, zero squeaks, and the operation is all butter smooth.

Thanks for detailed review. What's your height ya?
Number 2 seems particularly interesting as lumbar support is the main selling point.

Have you tried other chair like Anggun or others?

Haha, i was hesistating as well. Ya from their official store. You can actually contact them and ask if you can get lower price than what they are having now, they might able to help you out. I used barwaa and boxku. Price are similar and both provide good service. If you use taobao official sea shipping it is even cheaper (but high risk). V1 might be heaver, you can ask them for the dimension and weight of the specific product.

ok sure, thanks a lot biggrin.gif

I have asked Sihoo customer service about the M57, they said the weight is around 22KG with dimension of 75*34*65cm (equivalent to roughly 27kg)
The shipping cost is around 150 based on my last calculation using third party courier service, and what they told me is, if any parts are broken and are entitle to claim warranty, they will send the replacement parts directly.

I am shopping for office chair, and found that there is a local seller selling some sihoo model.

Back to the topic.

Anyone has any idea the main difference between steelcase series 2 vs think?

My office was using think, i love the seat depth adjustment and the 4D armrest.

But the Think offering here doesnt come with headrest. Wfh i would prefer a headrest option. (Taobao official shop has headrest selling separately at about rm600 though) >.<

On a sidenote, merryfair anggun with its 4d armrest( albeit hard nylon) and seat depth adjustment is a good deal at 600 to 700 price range!

Oh decision decision

My height is 170cm. Due to MCO, I didn't have much chance to test around.

i tested both series 2 and think (and other steelcase chairs)

but that was a year ago so i may get things mixed up, think has a 'softer' mesh, but the lumbar support is 'less tight' so depending on how you sit, you'll need to readjust the lumbar support bar from time to time
it's the same for series 2 as well
you'll get both 4D armrest, and seat pan depth adjustments

i bought the series 2 with headrest for a price slightly lower than Think

The 3 locked angle is definitely a cons. I find an angle that is suitable for me but I can't go there due to the lock.
For a better back, the second one is the better choice.
The 3rd position is too far back, without leg rest, your feet will be numb (don't ask me why I know laugh.gif )

Maybe due to the problem of #1, this affects the #2, or the other way round. I just couldn't find a sweet spot from this chair.
you just need to lean your back on it, don't keep exert force on your back or else will have spine pain like what you said (again, don't ask me why I know laugh.gif )

Its either your table, or how you put your arms. If your keyboard is at the middle of the table then it will be an issue like what you said.

Yup its pretty common, and in the ideal sitting position, you won't use the headrest so yeah.

seeing so less option to buy from malaysia market. I am thinking to import from taobao. Been eyeing on sihoo v1 or sihoo vito but their weight may cost rm200 shipping.

I bought an Sihoo M18 will extended footrest from TB using third party shipper around RM130+ deliver until doorstep. Chair itself after discount 629RMB.
The extended footrest turns out to be waste of money as even fully extended my leg is way longer than it.

Seat itself comfortable but the lumbar support is awful. 2 yrs in I'm thinking of getting rid of already so really depending on individual.
Comparatively Markus treated my lumbar better, with Steelcase Leap is even better.

was using old gaming chair during MCO period, sitting down 6 to 7 hours per days really made my lower back and butt area extremely pain. After intensive research and finally decide to get Ergohuman from Amoffice, after less than a week sitting on that, most of my pains are gone.

When you are young, sitting of any chair are fine, but when older age, these things really matter.
