no overtime !!

Jetstar, and Nokia projects have been closed down. Airasia project has seen more than 1500 agents in
15 months !! Don't know how many people have been terminated from there !! Due to politics, some people can survive
even with serious misconduct !! never recommend this company to anybody !! Foreigeners get RM 2500 but RM 500
is deducted for house rental. Malaysians get RM 2000 salary.

OK, first of all this company boss not in Malaysia. Leo is in UK maybe. Chief Operating officer is a nice man. The management is given
to a bunch of idiots . they think they are the god !!! If the agents leave Scicom, that's it, they have no life for them. that what they think.

Many people have been terminated, or resign.

Airasia project : 7 managers resign !! Operational Manager resigned. Vice president resigned and replaced by

a creature called Ramesh !! He smiles once in a year.
Airasia 10 hours job ! coffee break 15+15 mins
The agents have to come 15 mins earlier to find working pc.



Singtel : Many resigned.
Nokia closing.

Training
Trainer can use words like F**K and all kind of dirty words !!
They never give proper training. Customer will ask :
you people have no training ?

state of the art Pentium 4 PCs are here !! Any problem
with pc , agents will need to write incident log, and then
look for a manager to sign ,, !!!
The system will show the agent has worked 9 hours only,
even if they have worked 10 hours !!

Annual leave wont be approved , because everyday agents
resign.



Only those who can butter managers, can survive here !

Muslims pls do not work here during fasting month, as i
have seen agents on phone when they are supposed to break fast !
On Deepavali : Christians get off day, Hindus work !!
if annual leave is left 6 days, if you don't check , if will become
2 days !!


coffee break 15 minutes, if you want to go to toilet, wait for the
time. Your urine must wait for the break time !!


Resign ? many people will take salary and go just like that. No notice.
Reason is, two month notice required. If you want to join another
company, that company will not wait 2 months !!

you can resign immediately, but pay two months salary !!

The best part is they will ask your feedback !!

I had worked for more than 5 yrs in call centre. Mine not seems so bad after all. I won't tell where I worked and I already resigned also. But I can tell you that this company is really sXXX from what I read. Haha ..

whoaaa!! sounds scary!! thank god i found this thread. i got call from them asking me to attend interview for telesales post .. basic rm1700 .. then commision based on closed sale

yeah, i'd been there in Singtel project a year back.

My frustration is, only got my last salary six months later!!! no jokes!

I'm a good kid who gave one month notice and the balance month paid by my current company. The sad thing is Scicom just treat you like sh** when it happened.

The director (also in charge of Airasia) was so busy, which i had to wait three months to get the release letter signed!!! after that another three months and they asked you to pick the cheque as they've forgoten the procedure to use bank-in ....

All these good works, are also share by the HR person in charge. Don't be surprise when she hang up your call the minute they hear your name, cuz she can't find any more excuses.

Anyway, i'm so glad Senior OM responded to me when i'd just CCed him in the email to Leo. ^^

who's the senior OM, is it Sudhar?

Hi there.. I used to come to lowyat.net as a guest only seeking the computer peripherals prices and so on so forth. Never ever crossed my mind that I will one day register as its forum user. However, everything changed when I was offered and interview with Scicom MSC Berhad last Wednesday (2nd of February 2011).

Now when I found this thread it really really make think twice, thrice, and so on so forth. I'm offered to be interviewed for the Air Asia project. Looking at this 6 pages about joining Scicom makes me wonder... I hope the interview session that I get is not for the Contact Centre Training programme because I've went through the Certificate in Business Comm & Customer Service conducted by Scicom Academy last December.

Wow... My heart is truly 50-50 when I read what u guys wrote here. Though a part of me agree that maybe its a nice start since I am a fresh graduate and If i got this, it will be my first job. And I do agree too that we will learn a lot there including building up our patience.

Huhuhu, damn it. Can't wait to test my patience. I'll come back later to let you guys know (despite the fact that this thread was started long time ago..). Wish me luck for the interview.

come 25th floor...I am there...for me, despite what other say...it quite a nice company to work with....other projects i dunno what going on....as long as they pay my salary on time and do not force to work damn long hours...i dun mind...

Easy dude ... the interview is easy ... if you able to speak in english ... most probably they will hire you.

Me and my friends are going for the walk-in interview next week. But after reading all of your comments, I'm not so sure if I want to apply.

One question though: Do you really need to go training for 2 months before working there?

We have plenty of people who KNOWS ITS A MISTAKE.. but choose to make that mistake anyway..
