Most probably a revised console would mean a software update or patch. They cant stop their whole production line to replace a defective part with a newer part so easily.

They never published anything regarding PS5 PO before today and today at midnight they did their PO. I guess their orders are all coming up from their online websites.

just checked with him, placed the order around 12.05 am, confirmation email came in around 12.08 am.

More importantly I'm skeptical the foam they put around the APU would last years without eroding with all that heat and the humidity in some countries (oh wait, that's us!!).

Once that foam starts eroding, the liquid metal can leak out and if it touches any conductive area, it's gg PS5.

They did post about the online PO with the website link at their fb page around midnight, then they removed it a few minutes later after it was sold out.

Good, but that's because I use nail polish and electrical tape. There's zero chance of leaking because unlike Sony, I only put 1 drop - the size of half a pearl rice grain.

From all the teardowns I've seen, there's so much LM that has been applied on the PS5 which is a little mind blowing to me. The LM should NOT be sloshing around after removing the heatsink, but on the PS5 it does.

Why you guys seems so surprised with this case? Every tech gadget sure would have small amount of defect case. For example, smartphone. We can only hope for the best that those unfortunate cases won't happen to us

You guys are lucky...

Just checked my SenQ email that my purchase was 00:11 and email received at 00:12... Reason because i have to register account before any payment can be made...

So, just assume 1st batch hope is gone...

Luckily I never trust my SenQ order... Went for 2nd order this morning at physical store...

Yeah, I saw one teardown video and the LM is literally sloshing towards gravity when he was holding the mobo while talking to the camera.

Wise move. Actually we should have realized that something is wrong when sony malaysia specifically emphasize on the walk-in order. I mean, at this current pandemic, they suppose to focus on the online pre-order. But it seems that they are doing the exact opposite. Online pre-order is never be their main target, walk-in order is the main goal, in order to create hype.

By the way guys, we (those who queued this morning) has made into the headline.
