Yeah here's hoping they've gone through the right tests for nothing to happen in the future. With regular thermal paste, the only point of failure is it dries up and the worst that could happen is the PS4 shuts down. LM doesn't dry up especially with heat, there's always going to be a point of failure with it if not insulated properly and the worst that could happen is turning the system into a paperweight.

It means their so called first batch order is actually 2nd batch order. As the matter of fact, most of the merchants never said it's first batch order. They only said we will get call once the stock is available.

Are they (Sony Centres) already taking pre-orders for second batch?

So everyone just take in free money to roll. Is it normal to collect full payment for pre-order electronics?

It's not a scam la. It's just a dirty tactic to lure you to buy from them. As for the dateline he mentioned, it's up to you whether you believe or not believe. Some merchants will promise anything to earn your money. Some others may be more ethical and tell you there's no guarantee on when you will get it.

Anyway, right now you should make sure you can secure a unit for.yourself. That's the most important one. As for the release date, you must put lower expectation on this since currently the demand is much higher than supply.

Unable to pre-order at 12:01am today - from Sony Store and Shopee. Sad

Normal. It's been like that since years ago. For example, smartphone. You pre-order first, make full payment, the phone comes later. The only difference here is phone's production line is much faster and more efficient compared to console. So usually it won't take too long to arrive your doorstep.

Same here. Transferred money and in the ending get cancelled. Better of telling me immediately I'm not getting it instead of my money getting tied up and not being able to buy from elsewhere.

But that's also so irresponsible give out false info,example i could get mine from Sony klcc,i guess that's first day stock,now instead i stuck with the Norman stock which dunno when to arrive wth

Last night I was considering to take order from them after failing at sony store and shopee website. Fortunately I didn't push the order button at the end.

CB they give themselves till 20th November to refund some more. Possibly 8 days my money tied up with them.

I'm reading quite a number of issues on Ps5. Hope by the time we get our 1st batch most of the issue has been resolved.
