I preordered from sony MV but I’m not sure when I’ll get haha. I know I was there at 9.48, they took down my name in a book then at 10 enter and make full payment. Was 2nd to pay.

The manager initially said likely to be 2nd/3rd batch but after that say maybe first batch ok (Dec-Jan)... just wondering how come I won’t be first batch

Hence why SIE published a list of participating stores. Best bet to get from them. When HN & SenQ/SenHeng opened the PO like suddenly Malaysia had been allocated so many stocks when the situation is completely different in SIN, something is definitely wrong. Take order first and give later. Somemore HN asked to pay in full. SenQ no need to say la.

But now reading some of the listed stores also cancelled orders, SIE really messed up the launch here. My guess is that they never intended to launch here first but due to heavy backlashes online, they changed the decision. The stocks coming could be intended for SIN 2nd PO which is due to come in Dec but now shared with us. This is purely my guess and definitely not factual.

Anyway, it’s just a gaming console at the end of the day. I believe you all still have PS4s to play with. Just be patient and hope for the best.

Actually they just follow what the sony announcement said. Sony said the sales day is 11 dec, then everybody assume those who have pre-ordered guaranteed will get the console on 11 dec. Of course, we hope it's true. But in reality, we know it's impossible. Too many factors out there.

Sony Online Store themself was the first to start cancellations, as reported by a few forummers who got the call. Pathetic.

I sold my ps4 pro months ago haha ya actually not too big deal for me if receive a month later but i already receive deposit from a buyer so i guess i will confirm with hn tomorrow if really not day 1 i need to refuns the deposit 😂

Sony purposely do that la. They know those who prefer digital would still buy the disc version if the digital is not available. I also planned for the same thing this morning. Digital first, if cannot, then disc version it is. Thought the digital version would be gone since I queued quite back of the line. Those who queued in front sure would sapu all. Mana tau. When I took the form, the staff told me the digital version is still available. (Digital and disc use different form). I was shocked. Then I realised, digital version langsung tak laku in here. Lol.

Those ordered from Sony maybe can be a bit firm that they want the stocks on Dec 11th, if they receive the calls la. Otherwise if auto cancelled then there’s nothing we all can do also. Consumer law is definitely weak here in My.

If you have the holding power to hold the PO then better hold. I’d expect they will delay the launch in Indonesia in Jan 21 or very limited stock for them as to cater for our so-called ‘1st batch PO’ by these retailers; HN & SenHeng/ SenQ. That if the 1st batch had no other defective issues as reported. If it’s widely reported then it would be even worse.
