true. after few consideration i finally brought this on machine sweat.gif . thinking either applecare is really good investment to buy as prince around 800.
awesome. at first think to buy on edu store since they pair with free earpon 2nd but the price whopping upto 3950 as i not mistake. so i just walk in and find my fav color wub.gif

bought not brought....
Personally i didn't add RM800 for AppleCare....
Better use this money to buy iCloud/AppleOne....much more useful, can back-up everything and synchronize the file across your M1MBA and iPhone/iPad...

welcome to Mac family...=)

At 3599, yes, it’s a good buy. My only concern with the M1 is just the 2 USB C ports and no MagSafe, hence when you are charging the laptop you effectively only have 1 port usable. Of course, you can get a USB C hub/dongle thingy and then you’re sorted.
I think Apple using slower storage in their lowest storage models is a known thing, but for the casual user it’s not something you would really notice.

i think MagSafe is just a gimmicks....

M1MBA no need charging everyday...

The brick is 30W, and I use 1x UGREEN 30W brick, + USBC-USBC & USBC-Lightning cables....cukup already to

IMO magsafe is very convenient.

Ayy, typo a lot this days haha. Will consider your suggestion. The integration with ip with mba ecosystem is really smooth. Currently familiarizing with the basic usage (single click, right click thinggy) what I list most if able to open .heic format smoothly rather than need to use 3rd part apps in windows.
Just a quick question, i have the ugreen Gan charger 90W, it is safer to use? since the m1 charger is 30w, worries later overload the battery. Saw at apple website that even 90W apple charger can use safely in mba m1, but not sure 3rd party gan 90w charger can safely use

urm I bought the AppleCare, apparently it extends the warranty to 3 years from the start date, my previous MacBook Pro 13 mobo issue within 1 year, so do not want to risk it, and there's also perks on it, as it covers beyond the laptop itself, like charger, and battery,

can use the 90W charger, and the device will draw the sufficient amount of power, but not more.

benefit:
1. charger will have less stress = less hot produce
2. can use to charge multiple devices

drawback:
1. expensive
2. big size

my 30W GAN charger is the same size as Apple 20W charger. easy to carry.

BTW, Apple 20W charger can be use to charger your MBA too.

urm can't speak for sure, but I'm using the usb c from my lg monitor that has 96w power delivery for my m1 for close to one year, battery seems doing ok, so should be fine, so long ur charger is really official.

had also bad experience with fast charger and charges my iPhone X, and it become bulky, and the machine charges the repair for rm500, instead of usual battery replacement, so I guess you need to becareful on the charging time especially when you're idle.
