Yes, I’m awaiting next M2 lineup. Either current MBP M2 or newer lineup soon, unsure timeline

tend to agree, if you use desktop or laptop, you may be lucky it can be repaired if sth wrong during upgrade.

I auto update my surface pro 7, stuck halfway, hard reboot & now it's bricked.
Already open up the device, tried all sorts of things but still only shows windows logo and went dead again. Really pissed off with Windows.

Read in forums people warned to turn off auto-update, albeit too late.

But, had a dead MBP (intel, lucky it's company's laptop).

Just updated my M1 MBP to Ventura, so far so good. The intel one and MBA M1 not yet.

so happy with battery life, performance and no heat, feels like a handphone

Sorry to hear your experience. I have both Windows 11 and Mac machine. Both were awesome. Windows for my primary home machine and Mac for portable when I'm out traveling.

agreed both OS are awesome. i use windows desktop mainly for home/game/work. Macbook Air M1 for work/travel.

Anyhow I always prefer and recommended macbook for travel & work

Windows on Surface a bit dangerous due to how the BIOS is setup.

Windows on current Intel/AMD processors are the problem .

I also don't like Mac OS on Intel (currently using one, very hot, medium battery life). The other one on M1 is superbly good.
Maybe only upgrade when M5 comes hehe, good enough for my use cases for now

battery still good on Ventura.

I use stage manager for few weeks, then I disabled it.

SM only good for multitasking. Think of it as a vertical taskbar

Fellow M1 MacBook Air user, do you experience frequent crashing with apps and internet not connecting (after sleep) in Ventura? This problem keeps repeating and this is so annoying.

Just bought 3 days ago, Machines for MacBook Air M1 base model RM3999. Now back to 4399. Luckily grab it on 13/12.

On 12/12, Switch offered RM4099 with RM100 voucher by banks. But 13/12 offer closed.
