How to claim warranty for apple online purchase?
*
same procedure whenever you buy through official channel in malaysia.

Call apple or online chat with Apple customer service ( better since you can print the chat and show to the reseller service center the proof of chat); tell them your problem; if claimable they will ask you to drop the phone to their reseller service center and reseller service center will send to apple singapore service center to process.

P/S : do not walk into reseller service center directly cause they always like to reject claim when you try to claim something which they have no knowledge of like in my case last year......
Paint chip off at the rear of the casing under the glass (manufacturing defect) Mac City 1U direct tell me cannot claim whereas when i chat with apple, they ask to send to the nearest reseller and got the unit replaced.

end up spending more in the long term. What? Getting with plan is cheaper bro... unless u only buy rm 15 internet plan per month or use wifi only
*
Haha, yeah, what I meant was for example, on maxis, if you're on an older, legacy plan of about RM50-RM60 monthly but to be eligible to purchase iPhone on subsidy, the cheapest plan starts at RM128 monthly. You'll end up spending more. Of course if you're already on the plan, then it's a no brainer to get the phone on a contract, which is what I plan to do too smile.gif

Getting with plan

Rm 98 x 24 = 2352 + 3608 = rm 5960 only

Rm 5960 - ori price rm 5299 = 661 / 24 = rm 27.5 internet bill per month

Phone alone + rm 35 any unlimited prepaid

Rm 35 x 24 = 840 + rm 5299 = rm 6139 compare to celcom 98 plan 5960

So I dunno why u guys say more expensive lol

Yup, especially when you have a second phone with a Qualcomm modem to compare.

When coming out from a basement, the iPhone will always be the slowest to get 4G signal back.

Need to add SST so ended up at rm6317.60. But still worth it since it has better data than prepaid.

One question, I plan to buy MagSafe charger, do I still need to buy the apple charger?

The iphone 12 pro max comes with usb-c to lightning cable? So mean I need to buy a usb-c adapter? Can i use non-apple charger?

those reseller AASP is like that, claimg warranty with them is painful, have experience with them until I have to called up Apple and escalate to senior advisor, they help me to call Switch (AASP) and instruct them to proceed with warranty claim

they try to tai-chi everything and said is not a problem can claim

Based on the various phones I've tested, my take on signal strength: -

Huawei > Mediatek (no kidding) > Qualcomm > Intel > Exynos

For reference, the Mediatek I tried was a Realme 6 with G90T, the signal for maxis was far better than my SD865 Mi 10 and Poco F2 Pro at my office area.

For magsafe, you will still need a USB-C adapter.

And for non apple charger, of course you can, there are plenty reputable brand charger out there, Anker, Aukey, etc
