Any written confirmation on this? Or it's understood coz it's 5G?

Pretty much confirmed due to 5G modem. Published by plenty of media sources as well.

will you guys get iphone 12 pro / pro max with telco?

my current digi bill 1 month rm53, feel like buying 11 pro last time and i went digi and checked

it seems so much expensive because i pay more for the phone bill compare to buying the phone alone

It’s the same digi postpaid 120 x 24 = 2880 + 3515 phone price = 6395

6395 - 5299 ori price = 1096 / 24 = 45.6 phone bill

Anyone pre-ordered previous iphone on the official Apple Malaysia website instead of Machines/switch/telcos? I have purchased an iPad from the website before and the delivery was great but never tried during pre-order period. How much would they charge for po? Or it will only be available on the website once it’s officially released for Malaysia? (although I know the stock will be from Sg)

I decided not to purchase from Machines because I had terrible experience when I bought my ip11, and it’s cmco so I don’t want to risk my health to go for physical stores and I’m not sure if the delivery from local retailers is good or not for Apple products.

as far as i have calculated before. it is totall not worth it to sign up a postpaid plan with telcos for 2 years contract to buy an iPhone especially now prepaid has much better deal like hotlink rm35 per month can get you a decent unlimited call/data plan.

better just buy the phone alone.

Don't think it will be discounted but there will be some discounts with bank credit cards and what not.

Ya, don't sign on an upgrade for your current Telco plan just to get a phone cheaper if you end up spending more in the long term. As long as you're fully utilizing what you're paying for, that's good enough. Some folks get mobile phone subsidy hence no problem for them to get a higher plan.

There's no pre-order for Apple Malaysia website, you'll have to pay the full amount and just wait for the delivery which will vary based on the variant you choose. You can consider buying from Lazada's Apple Store, I've bought my iPhone X and iPad Air 3 from them. No issues with delivery.

Ya, like me, only maxis will work at my home area so no choice, might as well sign contract with them and buy a device cheaper laugh.gif

it's the fact bro, bolehland cheaper when exchange rate is low (weak ringgit) but when ringgit is strong (which will never happen) then bolehland will be more expensive than singapore and thailand.......
