i expect 12/12pro to have 7-8 hours of SOT with one full charge, my 11pro is doing ~8hours SOT from one full charge

Apple has already issued warnings on this and I would not be suprised at all if it does affect your other devices /gadgets. It would be up to your personal discretion then.

Normal 7T Pro has 8GB RAM, only McLaren Edition has 12GB.
That said I have never utilized more than 8GB and yes it's good and my elder sister is also using my old 3T and she may inherit my current phone once I switch to iPhone.

And 99% of the owners covers the phones with case lol. I bought xs max for the OLED and now see no reason to go for pro unless need the third lenses and lidar. Wonder is it worth to pay extra for stainless steel. Even mkbhd admit he prefers the matte alu frame.
