I would suggest you to apply at DiGi Store or Express, you will get your Transfer ID on the spot. Provide the Transfer ID to your existing ISP, inform them you are transferring (NOT TERMINATING, assuming both are riding on TM fibre). Then continue following up on the transfer status. Got mine done in 10 days.
*
I see...

Actually I did walk in yesterday and the CS said if sign with them then they will follow up. However since I sign online, then need to refer to official digi store. Thanks for sharing though... appreciate it. thumbsup.gif

Private or public ip?

Can torrent? I hardly torrent but sometimes need to download some lanun software.

I don't know how to check if it's public or private IP

I am able to download movie from popcorntime, so I presume torrent is working

how does digi fiber count?

does 100mbps just pay only rm130 or must tied with 2 digi postpaid line in total rm250 per month?
*
Pay only RM130. Postpaid line is optional, to take or not it's up to you. Same like Maxis One Prime.

QUOTE(andrekua2 @ Oct 23 2020, 01:55 AM)
I don't know Digi noob or Maxis playing games with me.

Digi called saying no port but I told them I'm using Maxis fibre and can use my current port. Digi then ask me go Maxis center do transfer request to get port id. When I go Maxis center, they told me Digi should do transfer request letter and hand to Maxis to continue from there.

Any unifi installer can enlighten me how to change provider?
*
Just go to Digi store and apply. Their system cannot check if you are doing switching hence when they call they assume it is a new application. So when new application, and in their system your port is full then they will say so.

QUOTE(Sabenarian @ Oct 23 2020, 11:32 AM)
My fiber still cant install yet. My order still processing. The CS said their system detect I still have contract with Unifail.. damn la.. Dont know their CS lembab or what.. TM already cleared me .. already returned the modem to them as well.
*
You do wrong process bro. If you terminate and apply new, it will take at least 1 month for Unifi to clear up your termination. Should have gone through switching instead.

Would like to know how is the installation for a apartment? is it the same as unifi where a telephone cable connect to the house telephone port (at one end) and then connect to the modem (at the other end)?

Thanks for helping out with latency results. Here's mine as a reference for using a Maxis home fibre line as comparison.

My current location is Ipoh. It's some 200km in distance from KL gateway NOC and you should see an additional ~5ms added on top of what you're getting for Asian routes because of the additional distance to traverse between Ipoh-->KL.

maybe just typo...50mbps if properly QoS-ed can replace 100mps line without much degradation...that is why tm avoid offering such package otherwise their revenue will affected

Different router may have different setup but here for TP Link :

1. Login to router.
2. Go to advance section, locate QoS setting.
3. Enable QoS, set you internet speed download upload.
4. Set your device according to your priority, which one you wanna give more speed and bandwidth.

For me with 100Mbps, every smartphone i set at 10% priority. Mi box s & laptop 30%

5. Save the setting and done.

Hi ... I'm interested to apply to Digi Broadband due to I'm given up waiting for Unifi or Maxis come back to me due to no port available for the past 10 months. Which I check with Digi and it's say my area "available" for subscription.

May I know does Digi need to tied to 12 or 24mths contract. As I read thw T&C if we used our own router modem no contract needed.

Correct me if I'm wrong interpreting wrong on the tied down contract.

Thanks in advance for the reply.
