maybe just typo...50mbps if properly QoS-ed can replace 100mps line without much degradation...that is why tm avoid offering such package otherwise their revenue will affected

Different router may have different setup but here for TP Link :

1. Login to router.
2. Go to advance section, locate QoS setting.
3. Enable QoS, set you internet speed download upload.
4. Set your device according to your priority, which one you wanna give more speed and bandwidth.

For me with 100Mbps, every smartphone i set at 10% priority. Mi box s & laptop 30%

5. Save the setting and done.

Previously was using Maxis Fiber 30Mbps... average getting 20-25Mbps, early morning maybe achieving 30Mbps...

Their phone/chat CS is good, superior i can say... whereas Digi I hate their chatbot, nearly to useless....

Sorry, ya didn't remember your case btw. Did you lodge report to MCMC for further action?
Like that all mobile hotspot also handicap product, coz cannot portforwarding. Only Unifi consider not handicap product. Even Maxis have to request public IP, and they can also at anytime suka suka don't give ppl public IP next time.

I like their CS so far, but now I wanna get one for myself and come across this Digi as the price is quite attractive.

But as you said, can't use VPN....

One question, If my house is using CCTV and I would like to access it remotely via handphone outside my LAN/Home network. Will I able to do it with this Digi plan?

Or I only can get it with Maxis/Unifi? (My place don't have other service)

Hmm, anyone could give a conclusion about whom this Digi IF90 package should go for?

I wonder how Digi public ip is working now. I am planning to apply for my parents house, basically what they use is YouTube, FB, Zoom meeting, Surfing internet, WS, Wechat.

I wonder will I get TV box for them or not in near future.

Currently i'm thinking of this IF90 because I might switch to Digi next year. Currently parents are using Digi RM58 and RM38 package.

If you don't do port forwarding, VPN etc, that will work. If you never have things to do with public or private IP, chances are you do not even need it.
And for now there is no TV Box bundled with the package. Better buy own box and install whatever APK you want.

Iwill get those third party TV box.
As for port forward and VPN sort of things, I think they might not need it. Unless I will move back to stay with them in the near future then I might need.

Btw, VPN is good for secure internet surfing as I heard. And also I heard about unlimited quota for some telco, may I know more of its benefits?

Many many thanks ya
