*Edit: Even after i reboot the router, the speed will eventually slow down after 1-2 hours also.

Got another spare router to try? Maybe router from your preious provider like Unifi etc.

Don't think so, have been torrenting shows & files, over 50+GB an evening also no issue in throttling

Only the TM zyxel router can mesh with each other. But im using 100mbps plan and living in a medium size condo. So far, reception is better than standalone router.

Hi, thinking of getting digi fiber. Are there more positive or negative feedback's on using it ? I'm an existing digi user, so I can get cheaper price...but very unsure if it's reliable or not. I work from home alot, so internet stability is a must.

Stability is okay since it's mostly TM infra.

I will rank the routing quality to be slightly worst than Maxis and Unifi. Not an issue if you are mainly browsing local or big well known websites.

IMO the best fibre provider is still TIME.

Coming from Unifi and using Digi fibre over a year now, the experience is more or less the same. Except that there is no public IP.

There are some use cases where you need public IP (port forwarding, hosting game server, CCTV setup). If you do not do those, chances are you do not need public IP.

I cannot say for gaming. stream for my use case is good enough. But since blacktubi already mention routing slightly worst than Maxis and Unifi, perhaps you want to also check out offer from Maxis.

Does any one facing the internet frequently drop off like every 1-2 days?
The Internet indicator on router will show red and reconnect again..

Like happening to me all these while, and digi mention to me this is due to "system refresh" which scheduled to run every 2-3 days...
it sound for me like the internet service is so inconsistent

I believe this is a connection reset which is done every 3 days. This is usually done to ensure connection is suspended for those users do not pay the monthly bill. I experienced the same thing on maxis fiber (reset every 24hrs) few years ago prior to MCO, but nowadays its roughly once every 2 weeks.

I see, so it's very common for provider to do such reset?
Very bad experience doing it on working hour especially meeting with oversea clients sweat.gif

I didn’t know there is such a thing. Never face any outage like this with Maxis Fibre or UniFi Fibre. sweat.gif My IP address can last for months…
