Same old problems. Zouma had a shocker. From that moment he underhit the backpass to kepa, down to that poor clearing header which fell at the feet of walcott. Here I was thinking he was shaping up to be our best CB this season. Kepa was average, but he did what was asked of him, I don't think mendy's doing anything different there. Suicidal backpass which any team would've punished.

Worst case scenario he clatters into the attacker and gets a red card. In the end it was a half assed challenge which lacked conviction, but you'd think our defenders are half decent to clear the danger once the attacker was forced wide. Just comical defending all around. 2 points dropped once again, it's already looking like a fight for top four. Disappointing.

Agree with some of you guys who have pointed that there is no SPECIFIC STYLE to our play. It just looks clumsy and thrown together, with zero cohesion involved. Our midfield is getting bypassed in split seconds, with kante not being able to do anything about it.

Mendy & Thiago please come back fit asap.

Lampard and klopp is not even in the same league, in terms of tactical prowess, philosophy and eye for talent. Before liverpool, klopp got proven track record with bvb.

However typically an experience manager would pair Zouma with more experience player either Thiago Silver or Rudiger...

Playing 2 young CB with a young out of confidence GK is simply suicide

Watched the highlight and i like the those goals scored by confident Werner and position awareness of Havertz

Too bad our defence suck

Lampard really need to study how to setup solid defence fast but given he already into 3rd season as manager but still apprentice level

Sevilla going hammer us with defense playing like that no defensive stucture , no communications in defense

Going forward Chelsea are deadly....is when we lose the ball and need start defending as a team

We need be positive 5 games in.......we see where are we after 15/16 games in the league.

We know Kepa has his problem but that southampton game....so many individual mistakes involve...Zouma , Christenen all ball watching then doing defending marking your man , Havert even Kante was not really playing well with his passing forward....reece james gave away a foul in stoppage time when there no need to do it......Chelsea are weak in set piece as a team.

Lampard and his coaching staffs all need step up and organise our defense structure in transition.

Lampard is 3nd year in his managerial career so he not a Klopp or PEp we know this He too is learning in this job. We cant sack him now its will destroy what chelsea is building....Club will be in disharmony.....worst result will come after...

This team is still good enough to get top 4 but wining titles not yet....

Rudiger inside freezer now

Klopp before Liverpool already have massive amount of experience.

Bear in mind during the last season with Dortmund, Klopp almost make Dortmund relegated. During the start of Liverpool, I seen too many Kloppout when he have defence issues.

Lampard already done well enough to get us to top 4 last season. Just give him some time to work on his new toys. Back him during this period or don’t back him at all when he won something
