Kante is a DM. If he is not playing as a DM, then is Lampard's tactic.

Actually did i miss out anything about RUDIGER ? why suddenly he not in contention of first eleven ? i think he is better than AC4 at least not as error prone. Cant wait to see MENDY in action.

RICE can play CB/DM but doubt LAMPARD will play him as CB as we are overload already. DM then most likely he will compete KANTE spot. I think LAMPARD formation he would like to play a defensive CM rather than a pure DM like KANTE. Yes KANTE is best at winning the ball but a lot of times i see after winning the ball and going forward he seem lost, cant shoot cant find the correct pass. RICE seem more balance in defending and attacking (base on youtube of course, as i dont see WH game), he seem comfortable bringing the ball forward after winning the ball.

To me RICE is not a priority but if can get also not bad, he is english and CHELSEA graduate so should help in CL quota. If he is good maybe open the possibility of selling JORG/KANTE.
