Watched the extended highlights, seems like tammy had a superb game? Those dummies to setup kai were just a thing of beauty! Nice to get a clean sheet for a change, but barnsley looked like they had quite a few chances themselves. Some nice saves from willy too.

Chilwell got an assist for giroud already, once he's up to full speed, it'll be quite a sight with reece and him bombing down the flanks

To be fair to alonso, he was very good for our opening two matches, but always forcing someone to cover for his lack of speed isn't ideal,especially against pacy wingers.

Anyway, mendy has finally arrived. I think lamps wants to push kepa to third choice (which is the right decision), but I feel the board will persuade him to keep him at second, so his value doesn't drop too much. That midfield is just looking slow and uninspiring. Can't pass, can't dribble and can't shoot. Everton's three of james, allan and docoure looks amazingly balanced in comparison.
